it seems calm in the game cause it's weirdly quiet, if you turn up the volume you'll notice how metal it actually is (love the drum beat especially) and tolkuton is right about the bass ^^ actually this is damn close to the original when it comes to the structure
Loved your Sewer and Epic Metal Cortex music...Great job on this one! To me, this kinda sounds like the theme to a sequel to the Lab, one that requires all six Coloured Gems. (Hey, Crash 2 and 3 got a level requiring all of the coloured gems-why not Crash 1?) It's a great take on a favourite tune from a videgame that I've loved since I was a kid, and as I listen to a lot of metal (predominantly thrash) this appeals to my tastes perfectly. Thank you for sharing it (and your other tunes) with us.
Super awesome!
*YES!!! METAL!!!* I really dig this one XD Need some mastering because there are some sounds overlapping. _But who cares!_ This is a great arrangement :D
Tolkutonta: Well, bands like sonata artica or stratovarious are from Finland and has a slightly likeness with their performance, that style of finnish power metal, if you hasn't heard them you'll note that has some kind of...connection i guess xd, but i always tought Finland is the country of metal since i listen my first power metal band (Stratovarious). (Another ps): Sorry about my English, i speak just a little.
Yes those are well known Finnish metal bands which are labeled as power metal. And what they have in common is the melodiousness (which power metal tends to have). There are also many more Finnish melodic well known metal bands like Amorphis and Wintersun and of course Nightwish (sometimes labeled as power metal) and Children of Bodom. They are different but has that melodiousness. And there are well known metal bands which especially have this kind of native folk/pagan/heroic theme like Ensiferum, Korpiklaani, Turisas, Finntroll and Moonsorrow. They are labeled as Folk or Pagan Metal and one of their key musical element is the same melodiousness. Finnish melodiousness also tends to be quite melancholic as it is also said to be in Finnish characteristics. With this all said, wait until you hear my original music... SorrowSpirit! (wow that sounded like a commercial)
off topic: my love for crash metal started from your covers... in fact I recently a kontakt metal guitar library called Shreddage 2 SRP to be able to make my own stuff so I must thank you for being such inspiration to me and probably many others, there aren't enough people doing crash here :)

Huh, The Lab has always been relatively calm. Didn't know maiing an epic metal version was possible.
Well the original has some weird melodies and already quite metal bass lines
