So i think people are confusing the ring tone with the text tone… when i followed instructions it did exactly what the video said - it changed the “text” tone on the messenger. Or maybe they didn’t pay full attention to what was said… 🤷🏻‍♀️. Anyway, it worked :)

followed everything and it didnt work.... it still is on default when someone calls me on messenger... the tone only changed when someone calls me on my number.

Please make sure your Messenger app is updated to the current version. If that doesn't help, you are welcome to comments about which step seems to be the issue (or if you can complete all the steps but the ringtone still doesn't change.)
