Could you make a video using self levelling on a purpose built slant as in create a border/frame on top of a sloped floor to illustrate how well the compound can find a level surface

I have lately moved into almost full time commercial flooring and skimcoating just about every job. Usually we are going from broadloom carpet to carpet modules or LVT or VCT. Sometimes we scarify first. Basically these tile floors need a new smooth surface. I only really know how to skimcoat using a flat trowel and spreading ardex as I would glue or an embossing leveler. Holes fill easily but this takes me several layers to cover and smooth even small ridges and bumps. Another guy I know leaves a lot of product behind from an 1/8" to 1/4" all over. Its obviously not real flat,...it looks smooth but a marble would go nuts on the floor and water would find puddle spots. This seems imprecise and not quite right and they're telling me to do this on most of my jobs.
Can you please demonstrate how to trowel in a large area leaving fairly consistent product behind and level? I've been thinking about using a notched carpet glue trowel to apply ardex to a reachable area then using a large smooth trowel to smooth it burying bumps or ridges.
I'm sure these areas are too big to self level them all cost efficiently. Thanks for your consideration.

they are all self smoothing not leveling. if you want level use screeding tripods if you want smooth then get a spiked roller.LVT needs smooth.a water based will level a little bit the deeper the better with in spec(but then you have to prime ect.

for a old bathroom concrete floor fill 1700 x 600 x 60 mm (I'm turning into a utility room on which a washing machine and tumble dryer will sit) can you use Arditex NA with coarse aggregate and do 2 x layers of 30mm pour to fil the void, before self levelling and tiling the remaining floor area? Or would you recommend another method? Would it need e.g. a bitumen coat or is it ok to use straight from the mix?

What a waste of product especially as Ardex products are expensive. The showing of pooring out of one bay would have been enough. More information on the types of subfloor it can go over would have been useful. Seeing the mixing of the aggregate would have been beneficial.

they are not self level they self smooth. god knows they the have so small bays this is nothing like real life they should do 4mx4m minimum. lets see you battern a 4mx4m room.

The video is to illustrate the application process and doing a larger area wasn't possible. We appreciate this is a perfect situation, but our levelling compounds have been used on large projects with great success ardex.co.uk/projects/ Please get in touch if you'd like more info.
