Only on maybe half the songs. If u ever see them live about half the show they have someone cover drums while he fronts the band and just sings. He obviously does both separate during recording. So it's not really that hard and in music videos is just faked and not like playing it for real. This dude aint like Aaron Gillespie who sings in every song and drums everything for underoath.
Taylor Klock Haven’t listened to much of UnderOath, but Donovan can definitely do it. I think it’s just so he can get a break from doing so, as I’m sure it’s insanely draining.
Spoken like a highly uneducated recent follower of Hail the Sun. If you would have seen them prior it was always just Donny on Drums & Vocals and it was god damn impressive. Not faked! Also this drumming isn't as easy as it may seem to be, especially as clean as he is. All drummer/vocalist do both separately while recording so you "obviously" don't know much about the recording process. Also I love UO and have been a huge fan since the very beginning but their new album blows in my opinion and Aaron is hardly to be found on the record.
@@Majorkip nah i think its his personal preference to go out and sing at the front rather than being stuck stationary behind the drumset. Underoath at least has the scream vox guy at the front to interact with the crowd

Bro I've been teaching drums for years and one of my students is 37 years old, works full time and has kids. He's not the fastest learner but he gets better every time I see him. I don't know how old you are but if he can do it, then you sure as fuck can.
