After watching the video, I was concerned about the missing baby. I read some articles, and at this point, a juvenile will start asserting independence. The juvenile may find a cool spot under trees or near bushes with moist ground to get out of the heat, but then return to the rest of the family. They will also take time to preen themselves of their downy feathers( possibly alone). I hope the missing vulture returns soon.
