oh man when i heard the song tears fell from my face for missing this game, man Final Fantasy X is the best game in all Final Fantasy best in love story music but the best in all the love story of Tidus and Yuna THE BEST (while typing i'm still crying).......

I played ff x2 before ff x. At first i didn't undertand why yuna had 2 personalities. Then i played ff x. And i still have no fucking idea how she ended that way

Call it fate or whatever but the dress sphere Yuna stole from Leblanc carried with it the soul of the other girl who died. And since Yuna and this girl was so much alike (down to even boyfriends go figure) it reacted more strongly than it would to anyone else.

Music this powerful can even make the strongest of men cry. I know because I did. Both Final Fantasy X and X-2 have a lot of meaning behind them and were written well. X tells how one must sacrifice himself for the greater good and X-2 tells how love can last even after death and back. Its really powerful especially when put into music like this. I will forever be a fan and admirer of this work and hope everyone else will too.

The premise of this scene is Yuna (short hair) wanted to unit two separate people (seen in the crowd) who are on the verge of war with one another. She wanted to sing to unit them, however the "spirit," of Lenne (long hair) was stored in the dress Yuna was wearing and the spirit arose, changing the CGI behind Yuna to the moment when Lenne and Shuyin died. So it was both Yuna and Lenne singing for the two people to find peace.

FFX and FFX-2 were both awesome games. AWESOME. EPIC. Both had intense story lines though different ones obviously. One thing I liked about FF X-2 was that Yuna changed so much from X to X-2. But, I guess deep down she was still Yuna, the High Summoner who defeated Sin.
That and the fact that it actually Stops raining in the THUNDER PLAINS. Love this game and FFX was my all time favorite the story line follows up pretty good. FFX has the saddest ending of all time in Video game history.

Tidus came back at the end of FFX, actually. If you watch through all the credits it gives you the exact same video they used at the end of FFX-2 of him swimming back up toward the surface. FFX-2 just expanded on the ending and showed him breaking the top of the water and meeting up with everyone again. But yeah, he's always been meant to come back.
Right after lenn says "whats in my heart" and before "1000 words" turn the vol up a few notches. If you have seen this before try it out. Problem with the song is that it stays at the same vol through out, but it's still one of the best songs I've heard in a long time.
@minutemuse The song relates to Lenne; she didn't get to say "I love you" to Shuyin moments before she died. I think she did, but it was only a whisper but unfortunately Shuyin did not hear her.
@ Keiradaly : The song was meant to show that if the two factions kept escalating their fighting, it would cause the 2nd Machina War. Lenne and Shuyin died because of the first Machina War so YRP is trying to stop history from repeat ing itself. War only causes pain and suffering its not the correct way to handle disagreements or arguements. (Yuna states this in here speech prior to song)
when lenne and shuyin stare at eachother before they are about to get shot thats the part that makes me cry bcuz you can see the love in they're eyes its so sad :'( I LOVE FF
FFX-2 is the 26th best selling PS2 game in history. This "hate" you speak of is internet bound only. The 4 million+ people who own this game love it =P

His black eyes show's the darkness and hate in his eyes, becoming corrupted inorder to protect Lenne. While his blue eyes show the caring heart and love he feels for Lenne and that he is still human.
Final Fantasy X and X-2 are two of the most amazing games I have ever played, if not the most amazing. The storyline is absolutely fantastic. Everytime I play the games I cry. Kudos to the people who wrote the storyline. I love it soooo much :)

As a 13 year old, this was the first time a video game made me cry. Alongside the "Suteki da ne" kiss scene, I haven't experienced any game music this touching since. (Though Dom/Mad world crushed a part of my soul I'll never get back.)
After you get into the Thunder Plains, I believe they're called. About half-way through. It's been years since I've played. You'll know you're in the right area for the event to be coming up whenever you have to avoid being struck by lightning for 20 minutes, lol. Well worth it for this video though.
Shuyin was an actual person alive during the first appearance of Sin, right before the machina wars that destroyed Zanarkand. The girl that looks like Yuna -Lenne was also alive during that time period. Tidus was just a dream of the faith that was created to help the people throw off the tradition of destroying their friends for saving all of Spira when it was not necessary.

He's a dream because the Fayth thought him up, they could give him any backround story they wanted to. He never existed and he was really never Jecht's(or whatever his name is)'s son. He was just something the faith thought up to help Yuna and everyone in the present defeat Sin and start the enternal Calm.

This was such a wonderful game. This was my favorite scene, too. I've had this game since it was released and I STILL get teary-eyed at this scene!

Been replaying this and just got to this part in the game. I was about to cry. OMG.
