I'd like to add a word of caution as an affected person myself: don't consume st. john's wort when you are taking antidepressants! It might cause Serotonin Syndrome :)

I can only agree, whilst I’ve never suffered from depression nor taken anti depressants I did for a spell (many years ago) take St John’s wort supplement as it was recommended by a friend to help relieve period pains, I only took them for around 10 days but had to stop as they were making me suffer with “tremors” never suffered before or since so yes anyone reading this please be careful xx

@@sarab2324 you're welcome :) I'm on zoloft :) I also have to be careful with grapefruit - maybe check the information leaflet of your meds for this and other interactions. I had to be told by my friends and a nice pharmacist, first, too!

Ohhhh the Fae are working overtime in my garden this year! Soooo many Volunteers! Redoing my wards for the house tomorrow before Litha. The Dead like us too much, I'd rather just have our family visit.
    So excited for Litha!

Our midsummer will.include about 12 of us. There will be lots seafood and dishes made with strawberry because this solstice falls on the strawberry moon. We meditate, pull cards, share poetry and have a bon fire. There is wine for those who desire.

Be careful with the seafood if you're in the U.S. Oysters, clams, and other shellfish from several places in Oregon, Washington, and California have poisoned people this month after being affected by a red tide.

In Norway we celebrate Midsummer on the 23rd, so I might have 2 celebrations. One the day the sun turns, and one on our Midsummer. Here the old tradion is for a young girl to pick 7 different flowers and jump over 7 fence-gates. And then put the flowers under your pillow, and you will dream of your future husband. We don't have midnight-sun where I live in Norway, but the nights at this time of year are bright. On the 20th the sun sets at 12.49 pm and rises in the next morning at 03.05 am. We had the tradition to attend the arrangement at our lokal Museum with dance and bonfire when the children were young. This year we will be at our summer house at the coast where I have my herbal garden. In later years my husband and I have usually been there.

I was born on Midsummer on a Sunday at 10:10 am. Just in time for Brunch. I have a very summer Sunday-brunchie vibe about me. It’s one of the things I like best about me. I also rock a beautiful flower crown. Because of this video, I’m definitely going to make a flower crown and wear it the entire day! I’m so excited. Thank you ❤

    ❤ I'm a third.
Generation which my great-grandmother and myself are witches.I live in virginia United states. I'm not too sure.If it's the same, but what does chick weed is used in U k.
I would love to get your advice on what it's used for my grandmother said something that I just don't understand what she's saying she says good for stomach problems and call me calming and relaxing. In your next video, it would be great if you could give us more of a detail on the herbs. What they're meant for I would really like that very much.Or you could respond to my question at a later date. You take care and have a blessed day.May the goddess what's over you always.

Chickweed can be eaten. Some people are allergic to it though.
It's usually put in a salad just because it's edible, not for medicinal purposes. There are claims It's good for stomach trouble and constipation.

Could Litha also be Lilith. The church demonized women and goddess worship.
This is an eerily similar name.
