Libera is a UK South London church based group that proves that any child can be grabbed off the streets put into a choristers gown and then asked to open their mouths and sing ~ and with such wonderful results they indeed sing gloriously.🙂

I saw them in NY and I tell everyone how nice they were when I got to meet them after the show! They couldn’t have been nicer! I’m not bragging tho I’m just saying good things about them
Michel Guy starts with a short, amazing solo. His voice is soft but powerful. Mitchel starts almost on an alto voice and goes all the way to a second soprano. It is possible he can still do high notes but not for long. Since the first time I listened to the song, I liked it. The lyrics are a simple repetition of one phrase. They sing “and we’re all gonna shine a light together’, with shimmering, beautiful harmonies and it is like I can feel the words. It is a happy, delightful song. I know is a cover for a pop song but of course, Libera makes every song better. It stayed running in my head for days. Great job Mitchel! The video is great too. See the original performance below and compare. Libera is so much better!!!

At Libera’s concert in NY, after I took a pic with Luca, and right after I walked away, Mitchel possibly (idk for sure) looked at me and then said something to Luca that I couldn’t hear so I think he might’ve been whispering about me to Luca. I wonder what he was saying 😂😂😂
My personal favorite is Ralph Skan. Not to take anything away from the other great soloists, but Ralph's voice just stands out for me. As heard on "Song of life" and "O Holy Night" among other songs.
Listening to libera is so powerful I have substance addiction .this music has such a incredibly powerful affect on me right now. Songs like "time" Robert prizeman was a genius. That young man "ben" Thank you.that song blew my mind !
