because mostly we Indians are of slavery mindset, we do not respect our culture and blindly follows western culture and flaunt and pretends as we becomes modern by following many illogical western ideas. For e.g. having cold substances like coca cola and other drinks in meal, social media addiction, games on mobile, playstation 5 addiction, fitting western toilets in home, wearing coat in hot weather, embarrass to greet in Hare Krishna, Ram Ram, etc etc...
There's nothing Indian or American here, it all about economics. If a product is indeed revolutionary nothing can stop it from being noticed, locally as well as globally.
On a personal note, this guys a great salesman and I would take his claims with a pinch of salt :)
