I think this is an overstatement. TM Hi-Capas have better tolerances than this and thus, less wear. The challenger also has several design flaws, the TM doesn't have. Good video none the less.
ICS sometimes has very bad ideas like making a proprietary hopup and other bits that they don't support a year later. ICS sometimes has very good ideas like a split gearbox that makes working on stuff a dream. This looks to be somewhere in the middle.
for me its ok if they discontinued the hop chamber. i can still use the afternarket parts. but i hope someone copy it with better material. like steel or brass

ICS has made a whoooollllleee lotta stuff over the years and finding parts for the more niche stuff is near impossible, there is no aftermarket. This is a problem with airsoft in general. The only company I know that does a good job supporting their products is Classic Army.
We can always find better airsoft guns than Tokyo Marui, because technology is inevitable. But saying goodbye? I don't think so... I assume 100 years from now, Tokyo Marui will be in the airsoft gun industry😇
Absolutely,,I like ics rifles seem very reliable so far and I've been using 274 hog for 7 yrs...BUT this challenger pistol is badly put together and not much thought into the hop up adjustment but once set you can cover a good distance on a .36 bb but the base gun seems to be abit of a mismatch of shades of black.. tbh stick with tm 5.1.

Planned on doing the same para pasok sa field requirements. What hopup did you replace it with? Would like to ask if you have any suggestion on how to replace the r hop rubber contact accidentally damaged mine during adjusting the hopup. Tia
Gun is actually pretty shit... I tried shooting it at my local airsoft range... Air Consistency is bad some parts are proprietary... Also for hicapas TM will always be king
