I really liked No Gimmicks, there was a ridiculously fast beat and flow that I never heard before. This song is more stylized and the phone bit which cut between the different parts was original. Can't wait to see where this style of Rap goes. I look forward for more of this!

And where do you think these mandem Lay claim to where they got their taste of music from. Just watch the grime takeover video when all the biggest grime mcs are in the booth and general levy shows up at the end. You will get your proof right there. Also UK hip hop and grime are about mainly in my opinion because of American hip hop. Most the mainstream grime nowadays is over trap beats. I like authentic early grime. the rhythms that Wiley runs or that the youth marshy would spit on. abstract rhythms. Thats real grime.
Also if you listen to the mcs coming out in North America and who have been out lately I'd say UK grime Hip hop is getting pushed back. Dave East, tee grizzly, Benny the butcher, merkules, Joyner Lucas and token are killing it with real lyrical content. Setting a standard fir sure

This was when pirate radio was a thing. Skepta was jme dj first then he became this Gucci wearing cookie cutter radio edit making artist before he said fuck THATS NOT ME heheheh
