Thanks for this video buddy! I just bought one, (orange to make it easier to find when I lose it; and I WILL). The instructions were VAST, and way too small print for my tired old eyes. I have the clip on mine. It still goes into the holster well. The S4P is an awesome upgrade. I waited for 3 models before I stepped up from my Seeker 2 Pro. It was well worth it.

Good review, Don. I watched this when you posted it. I am not as big a fan of Olight as you are but, I tried several different Olight models and just did not like them and returned them. I bout this one and the seeker 4 mini with the UV light. FINALLY! These are keepers and I now have these two in my EDC. Thanks for sharing the review

I just bought this Seeker 4 Pro in White and I absolutely love it. I don't go anywhere without it. I've only had it 2 weeks and have already used it 5 or 6 times at night. Definitely helps when taking the dog out at 4am here, way out in rural Indiana. Not another human around for miles. But if there are this flashlight will spot them 😂
Don't like turning dials on flashlights. Not only is it harder to use than simply plus or minus buttons but it is much more likely to break down over time or develop some kind of issue. So I'll get some other light. Thanks for a nice video :) Probably going for a LEDLenser since I find they are the best quality around.

I don’t like pouch s. Even wotb top clapped over light flip out the side. Not just olight all of them. I haven’t tried this but it look locked in

What light do you think is more impressive, this seeker 4 pro,or the marauder mini?... I technically have all the lights i "need", but since the sale is going in i wanna get one thats just fun, and impressive. I'm leaning towards the marauder mini bc its the price of seeker 4 pros normal price, and if I'm going to get it i wanna do it while its on sale lol.. but what are your thoughts?
Like that holster . It’s odd 95 percent. Have cloth. But top flaps over but light easily flips out the side because the pouch part is half of light it topples over even with top secured
In december ive got the White model from US and a clip from olight store in amazon (italia). the Custom papers to pay the VAT here in Romania were a nightmare. However, the light is awesome looking. The clip fits perfect, i put it on a backpack strap.
Is it possible when turning it on for it to immediately go to turbo mode? Can you set the memory for that?
I worked night shift for about 20 years. I’ve tried every light out there just about expensive lights I drop them they break some of the money if you feet so when I ordered the seeker 2 which was my first light, the deer ability to build, and then I ordered the seeker 3 pro call my sister she’s a correctional officer she said it stopped working may be a battery 🔋 and I gave her the warrior 3S no complaints. But finally found a well built flashlight that is torture proof because I am accident prone when it comes to flashlights, I spent hundreds of dollars on flashlights over the years. I did buy a 511 flashlight and it’s held up. I did give it to my brother because I do like the olights. and the seeker 4 pro is the best by far away everything about it now that it has USB-C charging big plus and the holster safety features as well. Make it an all-around great EDC flashlight, I can use it without a belt just stick it into my pocket
The holster can also be used to charge other olight flashlights.
Can I Lock wheel function ??? I mean , just to prevent unintentional move.
My first olight was a used seeker 2 from ebay. Let me tell you when i abused the hell out of it. Went on hikes, it was my work light i was a lube tech. Always dropping it Always cover in car oil everyone at work would ask for my light because it was better than everyone elses😂 there would be times where the light would turn off on it own and wouldnt turn back on so i would smack it against the ground then boom back on. Still have it today, ended up getting another for me and pops best investment!!

What are some uses for the UV light beside checking hotel comforters?
If you live where there are scorpions, they glow in the dark when UV light is shined on them. Makes it ideal when hiking at night so you don't get stung by them. You could also use it to sterilize things from germs when camping. Like eating utensils.
Sterilization using UV light is feasible, but requires UV type C light, not just any UV light.
Inspecting mattresses, looking for animal urine stains on carpets, and checking the authenticity of money and documents. These are the main applications of such light.

Can you charge said light while in the holster and on? If you need a constant light for a very long time or a bike light would be nice to hook it to a battery bank
The holster has a Type C charger in it. It can charge while in the holster OR with a magnetic olight pad.

@@greenzx9r Is it annoying? I've never tried it, but I would love to be able to have the fine tuning of the brightness. The seeker 2 feels like it could use another brightness mode in between the 50 and 300 lumens, as well as the ability to go lower than it's moonlight setting. 5 lumens is too bright indoors when trying to not put off any unnecessary light.
@MkGreene Yes. I do mobile patrol, when i want to turn the torch on and off frequently it gets annoying because you're always spinning it to use the torch for 5 seconds.

@@greenzx9r if u have it in lock mode then u have to turn the wheel first to b able to turn on,but u can turn on /of the "lock" by turning the wheel 90dgr and hold in the button for 3-4 sec when the flashlight is of and unactivated and visa versa

At 9:30 in the video you said it will run in turbo mode for 35 minutes. I wish this was true but unfortunately it will only run for 2 and a half minutes in turbo mode. Please let me know if I missed something. I would love for it to be 35 minutes! Great information otherwise. Thanks for the share!
no, turbo mode won't last for 35 min. When I use turbo, it last about 2 min too.
Lack of a tactical tail switch is a deal breaker for me!!.il keep my nightcore i23!!

Yeah, magnetic charging or usb c charging with the holster.

The Seeker 4 Pro is too floody. Does anyone know of an Olight thrower that uses a 21700+ with 4000+ Lumins in a neutral white color.
does the rotating switch make weird noises when gently pushed or rotate? you must listen with the flashlight near your ear.
Sofirn sc33 is a budget tactical option with a surprising 5500 lumens (21700)
Well, it is, but I don't think it has anything to do with the seeker. The Sc33 is more like the budget equivalent to the acebeam e70. I would say that the sofirn sp33s (although a bit more throwy ) and the wurkkos ts22 are more comparable to the Seeker.

Yesterday I went for an evening walk with both the new Seeker and the SP 33s and, to be honest, I'm not sure which light profile I prefer more, both are great.
The funny thing is that Sofir has more room to show off in subsequent flashlight designs and can improve the light profile much more.

I'm still using my Rayovac 2D cell. Never fails accept when wet, but it has saved me thousands of dollars in unnecessary flashlight addiction.
Don, I like your channel, but here's the thing. I know a number of EDC reviewers, and I know how much Olight incentives people to give biased reviews. Your reviews are so biased that they aren't credible. How about something negative about any of them? You frequently misrepresent the duration of Turbo mode on these lights. It usually lasts a couple of minutes and then steps down to something that is a fraction as bright - you never mention that. Why not be a bit more straight forward? You will earn more credibility and people will still buy the lights. You are giving all of the canned lines that Olight requires for comp. You can do better!
Olights really do kick butt. For the price they are pretty good.

My opinion: don’t buy flashlight with too many modes, no need fancy for survival.
Buy flashlight with only 2 modes : high and low.

I hate the fact that China owns everything. I also hate it that I can not avoid it. Range Rover, Volvo, Tesla, it killed me to find out American Standards toilets are Chinese, as is Smithfield lunch meats...SMH.

Just picked this light up. I really like it a lot. One thing I absolutely hate is that the packaged cable is usb-c to usb-a. Why? Why, Olight, whyyyyyyy!?
Sad that there is no tactical tail switch button. I've other flashlight with that feature, but I'd upgrade it for 4600 lumens.
