I’m thinking about making a special trip to see them in Brooklyn in August. Did they play any of the stuff from their first few albums? I’m just wondering what the set was like. Thanks!
@@mattmenefee3889 Yes I highly suggest you make it they played all the stuff that you knew the light show was great it was a smaller venue where I went so you were able to get right up front
28:37 I came to this town Without a thought in my head I’m a fool Woman made me lose my cool I’ve hade the blues for so long You know they’re gettin me down I’m gonna leave this town Come on treat me right I want my baby for another night But you you know if this keeps That’ll be the last straw I won’t be here I’ll be gone Come on , Treat me right I want my baby for another night But you know if this keeps up That’ll be the last straw I won’t stay here I’ll be gone How can you pick on me When I’m out of my head You know I’d rather be dead Then to be out of my head I’d rather be dead
Four years ago, i was falling in love with The Brian Jonestown Massacre. At the time, i wonder myself why couldn t i know them before they released such a punch of albums. By listening this guys, i can rest in peace because they got just two albums.
I don't know much at all about drumming but my ear hears his drumming as extremely repetitive from song to song... I like the sound obviously, I mean I listen to this set on repeat basically, just never thought he was doing anything beastly to be honest.
@@e___e. Oh I don't get to share an opinion because you say so lmao alright... I said his drumming is extremely repetitive from song to song, which is just a fact. Then I said I never thought he was doing anything beastly, which you don't get to tell me not to think. I never said he doesn't match perfectly with the band's groove. I never said it's about crazy fills or complex techniques. You could tell me what he does that's so beastly if you really want to make a point... He keeps timing well is what you'll probably say lol

Очень крутые ребята.
Anybody know what the name of the song that starts at 28:38 is?
Out of My Mind, by John Brown's Bodies. 5 years late is better than never right haha
@@cleetustheclamcatcher5655 do you know any other songs by John browns bodies ? I’ve been searching but can’t find any
Big bottle of Jack around 4:30 😂
Jazeker, hét optreden van deze zomer ;)

more " treat me right" Miles !
No my point is, that i like their style of not- needing any show or background. They just play their music and it's still awesome
the song 34.00 sounds like a old song but i just can't remember what it is there somebody that can help
+bsj it's 'every girl', from one of their own albums :)
+bsj Every Girl
lol no show or whatever. The stuff from two door cinema club is already installed in the background. One of the best bands.
what song is the one starting at 37:50 ?? :D
Ricardo Martínez Trenado I think it's part of Catamaran? See "SXSW 2013 - Allah-Las - Catamaran" and its description.
John Koontz Thanks a lot John!! right on hermano that is the song ;D listen to Mujeres, a band from Barcelona that rocks as much as Allah Las. Cheers
Ricardo, I've been fooled by similar things more than once. I looked up the Mujeres and they kind of remind me of the Shakin' Pyramids.
Divine Allah Las!
fuckin great gig!!
Neil Cassady driver songs forever
dale inter
Great band! Am I the only fan here in Ireland?
sacred sands, don't you forget, had it all, tell me, catalina, vis -a- vis, sandy, busman's holiday, joan brown's, no voodoo, no werewolf, enemies, every girl, catamaran, long journey. :)

Memory lane
2020 anyone?

Sameeeeeee
smokin hot dudes
!!!!!!
whatever happened to No Werewolf?
not even sure if that was out yet in 2013. lol
The song at about 8 minutes sounds a bit like Ruby Tuesday by the Rolling Stones to my opinion.
come on allah las, you can do better, where are the extended psychic live versions?
festivals suck for that, they are on a timer, shit has to run to a tight schedule..
Joao David bro, they kill in it. You should do better and think before commenting somthin lame
Ich kenne guten Klang, wen ich ihn hore
Oh My Fucking god I LOve them
are they all vintage guitars?
Lorenzo Dicembre Official the gibsons a 60's es 125, whilst the murph squire is from the 60's as well. not sure about the DC bass, but probably not. it looks pretty new. the jaguar is new as well. its a japanese fender probably from the 90's or 00's

Why is that? Hahaha
British invasion garage band music.....
Scott Frasier
Sounds more like like surfy california music tbh
This white crowd is so BORING, why y’all like that 🙄
It's like listening to a school band. Come on guys.
+Peter Hellicar I can see u definitely not into this band, which is right that way to play that make them so simply original.
what do you listen to? bands that finished college?
+mmummumm be quite you idiot.
Eduardo Di Napoli I was talking to my man Peter right here
Peter Hellicar really? it's called Garage Rock. Raw roots. Minimal production. I suppose you prefer Journey?
