Looking forward to your wrap-up. We just finished homeschool, for a much needed break. I am so going to take my kiddos to the bookstore to get a celebration book. Love that idea!
Great suggestions today! I love it and added a few to my tbr. I have read 4 Justin Cronin books: The Passage, The Twelve, The City of Mirrors, and an unrelated titled, The Ferryman.
❤📚❤️ Wishing you a great reading month! I choose five books each month, and my top two I can't wait to read are: The Light Pirate by Lily Brooks-Dalton and The Kingdom of Back by Marie Lu.
Hope you have a good reading month. You have a lot of interesting options! I think I need to try a thriller, but I'm scared!! I get stuck in reading ruts and I need to branch out a bit more :) 🏝️
I just read The One and Only by Riley Sager so will be interested to hear how you like Middle of the Night. I read The Passage earlier this year and really liked it! I’m a post apocalyptic book fan. I will tell you that a “reset” occurs part way through. Don’t be put off by that, it all comes together in the end. I’m reading the next book The Twelve right now and enjoying it too. Happy Reading!
Six Scorched Roses is so good! It is my favorite written by the author and probably one of my favorite reads of the year. Really great neurodivergent rep. Skin of the Sea is one I really enjoyed as well. I listened to the audio for Bromance Bookclub. It is fun, though nothing amazing. I hope your reads go well. Also wanted to add, I love your tradition of going to B & N to celebrate the end of the school year.
The passage might be my favorite trilogy of all time. It is dystopian with a twist on what causes the downfall of humans and what they do to try and survive as a species. Dont want to give anything away with specifics but I hope you enjoy it. I have recently read the 1st and 2nd book in the Emily Wilde series. Check them out ( SO GOOD). Happy reading
I was disappointed that BOTM didn't have Sager's new book as a pick for June. Debating if I just go ahead and buy it or hope they put it as a July pick. You have a great pile of options for June! 🏝
I loved Eight Perfect Murders, Lovelight Farms series and Bromance Book Club. So excited to discuss Songbirds & Snakes!!
I almost started Songbirds right after our discussion bc I was so intrigued ... but I'm going to wait a bit so that it is fresh for the discussion :)

Be sure to get yourself a book too - you worked hard for it!

I read The Ferryman last year and really liked it ... especially the twist :) I'm almost finished with The Passage and really liking it!
Waiting on The Familiar from the library, it sounds so interesting.
Ooh - River of Silver - that was fun - kind of deleted scenes from the Trilogy. I loved Daevabad!
I just finished Darling Girls yesterday… it was SO GOOD! Can’t wait to hear your thoughts/opinions!

I still have The Kingdom of Back - let me know what you think of it!
@@bookmama26 I sure will! 🤗
@bookmama26 I finished The Kingdom of Back ... and loved it! Especially after I read the authors notes at the end after reading the story!!
Quickly added some of these to my cart. ❤
Happy to help :)

Thrillers are great for getting out of a reading rut - you should give them a try!!
Hi Angie ! Hope you like The Passage. My son read it and absolutely loved it. If you like dystopian stories, you should enjoy it.
I just started it and I'm really liking it so far!!
Hi!! Glad I found your youtube channel! - Tammy 💜
Hi Tammy! I love that we are all on Marco Polo together… I feel like it’s so much easier to get to know everyone 😊. Go team purple!!

Sounds like a fun month! 🏝️
I don’t read romance but The Bromance Club is funny! And there’s more in the series ❤
Exactly what I want in my romance - laugh out loud funny!

I've started The Passage and I am really liking it so far, I'm not quite sure what it is but I am intrigued!
I love all of the bromance books. I only have one more left!
That is good to here - I think they will be easy reads this month! I was thinking it would qualify for a second chance book!

Jessie said she heard it was going to be a mid-month release on BOTM ... so I'm waiting to see!

🏝 I enjoyed first lie wins
The only real readalike I’ve found for Abby Jimenez is Emily Henry. Whatever you read, I hope you find some 5 ⭐️ books.
I need to try Emily Henry again - I DNFd the Vacation one!
Yeah, that’s my least favorite of hers. Beach Read or Book Lovers might be better for your taste.
