The only way you would know via boutique is if you send your bag in for repair and they deem it inauthentic and refuse the repair service. That’s the only way I have heard.

It’s exactly what I said on my French video ( forgot to mention here ) she said she was able to authenticate 6 times and once she had a fake one and they gave it back to her so she could be refunded. Crazy right ? 😅 I wish all the boutiques could do it.
My advice: know your seller, you are buying the seller as well as the bag. My understanding is that the boutiques do not authenticate bags but I do not have first hand knowledge of this. If you can authenticate prior to purchase, this is ideal.

But sometimes in are in FOMO and we forget all the red flags and things to do before buying a second hand bag. 😭 Yes im quite lost with this girl that went 6x to LV to have bag authentication ... it's the first time i hear something like this !
