Just adore the BOTH tree projects!! So much fun! Love seeing the frosty kittens playing in the snow! Makes them enjoy the warm home so much more!! Hugs from NE Ohio.
Thank you. Great ideas. ❤ Love the wool project. Perfect. When I was a teenager, my best friend Ann and I would make the trees from Readers Digest. Good memories. See you next time. 😊
Another Lori demo video to save! The paper trees are so cute! AND! The finish of the wool applique..its fabulous! Sometimes it's the simple things that mean more to us! Thank you my love!!
Hi Lori. Thanks for the book page tree tutorial. Also, love your felt project for your gift exchange. The advent bag felt project is so cute too! So many good ideas! Take care.
That was great- I have never done anything like this with a book before- excited to go give it a try! Thanks again for sharing, I appreciate it! Have a great day and I’ll see you tomorrow!
I too, thought cats didn’t like to get their paws wet!! The paper trees are so sweet and with them decorated, they’re such a perfect accessory on a table etc. The two wool projects are adorable and make great little gifts. Love these videos!!!!
Lori the kitties look so cute romping around outside! The Christmas tree pillow is SO CUTE!! It’s so sweet and prim!! I remember making the paper trees with my Mom. Thank you for the tutorial, Lori.
Love your paper tree tutorial. It sure takes me back in time making these as a child using Readers Digest. Love your wool tree ornaments they are so cute.🥰
The trees made from books are pretty cute. I remember seeing that craft project in the old McCall’s Needlework and Crafts magazines back in the 70’s. Everything old is new again! Your wool appliqué trees both turned out great. The pillow will make a very nice exchange piece. The recipient will love it. Don’t forget to initial it on the back too.
Fun tutorial. A garland of small paper stars would look nice on the paper tree. Your skinny wool pillow is a wonderful exchange piece. Like the idea of a gift card holder for the other wool tree. So much goodness. I don’t know how you get so much accomplished.
After yesterday I looked for a bag of wool to start my stash collection and Etsy has a lot of wool to offer. My Granddaughter loving cats as she does would love a bowl full of the pillows with the cat patterns I found on that website. Will gather supplies and start Jan 1st and add that to my stitching list. Thank you for sharing the beautiful kitties in the snow ❄️❄️❄️❄️☃️☃️☃️
Thanks for showing the book tree I know I made one back in the early 70s when I first got married and we had no money. I've really been enjoying your cats. Both look like the 2 I had for 17 years. I so miss them
Fun tutorial on the trees; it was neat to see by cutting a small corner off the bottom, you get a different tree. Loved your wool appliqué door hanger with pocket, too.
I can’t believe your kitty would get her paws wet in the snow. When I was young we used Reader’s Digest to fold and make the body for an angel. I think if I have time I’ll give the tree a try.
🌲⛄️🌲⛄️🌲⛄️🌲⛄️🌲 Nice snowfall! I live in Southern California and have to drive to see the snow. ⛄️ I loved watching kitty in the snow - how do they know they aren’t going to fall in a hole? Love those folded book trees. We used to make them from reader’s digests. Blast from the past
Oh my gosh your kitties are so adorable! The one in the snow reminded me so much of my Mac who I sadly lost around this time just a few years ago. Another wonderful tutorial and I hope you show us your decorated tree when it is done.
Thanks for sharing the tree tutorial. I'm going to share it with my daughter, she loves to do crafty things, maybe we'll do it together when she is here for Christmas. Your kitty in the snow made me smile!
I want to make one or two of those trees!! Thank you for sharing. It is so soothing to listen to your voice in your videos. I appreciate the pace in which you share your talents with all of us😊 Thank you for all the time and thought you have put into this season🎄🎁
Lori those trees are so fun. The red tree pillow for your gift exchange is adorable. Thanks again for the great tutorial and your time to make these vlogmas videos!
Hi Lori, How cute your pillow turned out !!! These past 12 days went by so fast. I looked forward to your vlogmas everyday. I'm now addicted to your channel. 😂 ❤
The paper tree craft is beyond darling! I loved your tutorial ❤ . I wish I was the recipient of the wool applique pillow you made. It's absolutely adorable! Your vlogmas content is, hands down, the best I have ever seen. I am really enjoying each episode so much.
The wool pillow turned out so cute! I love the jingle bells on the corners. I made a book tree after you showed yours the first day. I love it! I just saw an angel made similarly in an older magazine that I might try too-when I can buy some extra crafting time! Take care, ❤
Thank you again for these great tutorials 😊 I started watching your vlogmas videos from last year yesterday so it’s double the fun…Will be good company while I’m stitching this weekend!
Your pillow is so very cute. I want to make the book Christmas tree. It sure does bring back memories. I love your spool idea for the trunk. You are so creative
The tree wool applique really were two neat gift ideas. Loved watching the kitties walk in the snow. Do the Kitties see the deer from the windows in the house as the deer seem to come near the house? My cat loves to sit in front of the window and watch the birds come into the feeder, and the birds know he can't get them so they sit on the ledge of the window. Never a dull moment with a cat in the house.
The deer come quite near to the house all the time, and both them and the kittens are curious about each other. They never get closer than a few feet, but I believe someday one will take the next step.
How precious your little pillow and ornament turned out! I love them both and I’m going to try making one. The trees are so adorable and way easier to make than I thought! I’m thinking three different sizes would make a cute centerpiece, hmmm I must get busy crafting. Lovely snowfall, looks like your snow bunnies like it 😽😽 Thank you for another fun vlogmas! 🫶🏻
Thank you for doing the tree tutorial. The paper book trees are so cute and I'm looking forward to making them with my grandchildren. I'm very much enjoying all of your vlogmas videos. Your wool applique tree exchange gift turned out so beautiful.
Another great tutorial. I made those paper trees as a child and had forgotten all about them. Such good memories. Love your tree pillow and the one with the pocket. So cute. ❤
I loved your tutorial on the tree/book. Thanks so much! I will try to make one over the winter. Kittens were so cute in the snow. I have two kittens only one goes outside the other is afraid of the outdoors. The one that goes outside uses the dog door I really prefer that he doesn’t go outside. Your Christmas garlands are beautiful. I have not had much luck with finding any artificial ones I like. I’m really enjoying your Vlogmas!
I am really enjoying your vlog-mas . I am always looking for easy creative ideas to share with my stitch group and your trees are adorable! I’m definitely going to keep these in mind for our next gathering!
Oh Lori, I think this video was my favorite. From watching your adorable kitties exploring the snow and your tutorial on the tree that I remember from my childhood. Thank you! Your wool applique pillow is perfection, question, what is your hint for getting your herringbone stitch on the sides so even....I always struggle with that . Thanks again for your wonderful vlogmas videos❤
Thanks!!! I’m not sure I have any hints as I didn’t think they were that even. Having said that, I think I’ll get there with practice, practice, practice. The only hint I can give, is if it doesn’t look good, pull out that stitch before moving on!
You make the paper tree look so easy to do. Do you think you could add any color to it? Not sure if you could lightly spray paint the outside edges after it's done or maybe use a colored sharpie pen on the edges. Have you seen anything like that done to bring in some color on the outside? Would love to be on the receiving end of getting that felt pillow in your group...so darn cute Lori. It was so fun watching the kitties test out this new snow stuff on the ground. I opened up the door this morning to see if my cat Stormy would step out in it and she looked at me like..... Mom, are you crazy? Turned and walked away. I think she is just too spoiled 🙀😺
Just so much goodness! I’ve always liked the paper trees, but had never seen them made before. Your exchange pillow is adorable. And the sweet one from yesterday, got even sweeter today. Thanks for sharing these tutorials! PS don’t you wish we had no cares, just like the cat???? 😅
Just adore the BOTH tree projects!! So much fun! Love seeing the frosty kittens playing in the snow! Makes them enjoy the warm home so much more!! Hugs from NE Ohio.
What a fun project, Lori! I wish I was in your quilt exchange, too...that little pillow is so adorable! Enjoy the snow❄️ Hugs, Candace
Such fun making the trees! Your pillow for your exchange is beautiful!!! Whoever gets it will love it!🎄❤️
I hope they do!
Thank you. Great ideas. ❤ Love the wool project. Perfect. When I was a teenager, my best friend Ann and I would make the trees from Readers Digest. Good memories. See you next time. 😊
Your stitchy gift is adorable! I am sure the recipient will love it. Thanks so much for being so generous in sharing your ideas and time with us! 💕

They're really fun to make!
Another great tutorial! I might have to make a tree. And your quilty friends should love your exchange gift, it's so cute.
Lori the kitties look so cute romping around outside! The Christmas tree pillow is SO CUTE!! It’s so sweet and prim!! I remember making the paper trees with my Mom. Thank you for the tutorial, Lori.
I’m so glad you enjoyed the video!
Grabbed one of my old paperback books and made a tree while watching you demonstrate. Thanks for another great tutorial. Made these also as a child.
I love that these projects are timeless.
Love your paper tree tutorial. It sure takes me back in time making these as a child using Readers Digest. Love your wool tree ornaments they are so cute.🥰
Love both the wool tree tutorial and tree tutorial. I walk my puppy neighbor and she loves the snow. Snow makes the animal act so funny.
It sure does!

I find time for things that I love.
Tutorial was wonderful, loved your gift exchange lucky recipient ❣️ Thank you Lori 😘

I think those cat pillows would be a big hit!
I remember mom making those trees. There's some fancy book folding I've seen, but there's not enough time for all of it!
I loved your cats in that beautiful snow!❤❄️
They were happy to have a little fun outside, and then just as glad to come in and nap all day.
Loved the tutorial on how to make the book tree! The kittens sure do like the snow!
Thanks for showing the book tree I know I made one back in the early 70s when I first got married and we had no money. I've really been enjoying your cats. Both look like the 2 I had for 17 years. I so miss them

Your tree pillow turned out adorable. Also love it as needle book/gift card /ornament.
Fun tutorial on the trees; it was neat to see by cutting a small corner off the bottom, you get a different tree. Loved your wool appliqué door hanger with pocket, too.
Thank you!
I can't wait to tree and make one of the paper trees. It really looks like a fun project, thank you for showing how.
I can’t believe your kitty would get her paws wet in the snow. When I was young we used Reader’s Digest to fold and make the body for an angel. I think if I have time I’ll give the tree a try.
