very nice if you likes trees and shade, but all that land and nowhere to garden is how i feel watching this. trees are always a joy but so are sun pockets, ponds for wildlife, herbs and perennials and grasses and greens and fruit!

Symmetrical gardens always feel a bit demoralising. Some parts of the garden had mercifully been allowed to grow more freely, escaping the needlessly po-faced square shapes. The centre bit still felt horribly lifeless and dull, though. No variety, just evergreens.... sad.

The annoying barking dogs distracted me, so I left this video, which was rather boring and stiff anyway.

So cool to see @Nowness in my hometown. I hope you liked it! Didn’t even know about this garden! Turin is like this! Little gems all over the city!

This italian garden is full of so wonderfully matched trees. Gardens without trees are so unlovely to the eyes of the beholders ,but the most garden owners do not understand the amazing aesthetic worth of the trees and thus keep on making unsightly ,soul-wrecking gardens.

What a waste of spaces, much more could be done out of it.

The garden is clearly now neglected and only a shadow of what Page created. To see it in its full glory, have a look at the cover photo of "The Gardens of Russell Page". A truly astonishing work of art. And no, that isn't Page at the start of the video.

What’s with the constant bells ringing. Jeez I would lose my mind hearing that all day. Nice garden though...

Superb garden of course, but the film is marred by the sometimes hellish soundtrack.
Was that really Page himself at the beginning?

hellish soundtrack of birds bells and someone tickling piano? I'm guessing your what is heavenly list is quite short.
