I totally transformed my body and blood work a little over 3 years ago which I have posted here before however, I am still addicted to sugar and it bothers me. The lock box is a good idea. But please, be easy on yourself. Most of us were addicted to sugar from childhood (infant formula, baby food, fruit juice, boxed cereal, pancakes, etc) and it's simply a lifelong struggle no matter how healthily you eat. Sadly none of this is rocket science and yet mainstream science seems puzzled why obesity, diabetes, cancer has skyrocketed once everyone started pushing sugar laden carbs instead of healthy fats forty years ago.

I try to avoid junk food but I still crave it, however as my consumption has gone down I seem to tolerate it less and less, I'll feel a bit sick and rundown about an hour after the Dopamine hit. So in my case it is kind of self regulating, I might go an occasional junk binge but it'll be a while before I succumb again. I try to avoid snacking but I eat a lot of full fat cream in maybe a misguided attempt to go keto.
