Boy that teak at the front looks really good. It's a shame that the two quarter berths aren't made from the teak too -- it would really be cozy looking down there! The carpet made a big difference too! As always ... great job!!!
Thanks for watching Where do you live? What area? There are a couple for sale in NC right now I have someone already planning on buying this one, but I do occasionally have one for sale I have a nice 1985 model Com-Pac 16 that I may sell, haven’t decided yet
This is the best looking interior so far, and you are not even finished.. I am liking the Compac 16 more and more every episode that you devote to that boat. I so look forward to your videos. Have you ever spent a night aboard a 16?
Boat camping many times over the years on a Com-Pac 16 My wife used to go with me as well Usually for just a weekend A boom tent is nice to have if it rains
your work sure has tidied the inside of cabin pretty neat looking , although i would,nt put carpet in the sole when it get wet and damp it will stink and go mouldy ,i ripped sll the carpet out my boat even though the guy i bought it off had just put it in to tidy up before sale ,what i d id use was the foam sleeping matt that youd use on camp trip glued on to inside hull used four of them total they come just over 6 ft long 30 inch wide ,and are insulating water proof easy to wipe clean i think i paid 6 british pound for each one they had some neat colours to choose from they,re a twin fabric a hard foam back and overlaid with a polyester or some sort of synthetic fabric with coloured weave bout half inch thick i used sticky velcro to hold in position
Lol I’ve had it for years It makes a great anvil and as used here, a good weight There was a freight train wreck over 40 years ago that derailed and tore up a good bit of track I got a couple of pieces of track and a wheel bearing from the train (given to me by the salvage crew) The bearing was around 6” diameter and 4” thick solid steel Thanks for watching

I used a PET carpet that won’t rot or mildew but I understand your concern. Carpet can get nasty in a boat
Thanks for watching and for your suggestion
Why do you have a piece of train track? Convenient... but random!
Lol
I’ve had it for years
