Agreed. Only made worse by making the final Alan parts of the game extra extra annoying and layered. I am so over it, specially because I had to look up a video guide for this roof part.
As someone who loves Alan Wake 1 in the sequel I hate Alan’s parts. So confusing if it wasn’t for the videos I’d be bloody slamming my head into the wall.

How did you magically end up at a door entrance between 00:42 & 00:45? You switched to New Yorks finest then it looks like it skipped something and then you’re at a door?
So to access the projection room they expect the player to somehow know to interact with the projection screen by changing the Theater Hall to "The Grandmaster" in the Plot Board instead of.. i don't know err-- something like OPENING THE FUCKING DOOR TO THE PROJECTION ROOM WHAT THE FUCK GAME?!!!!!!

It’s honestly very challenging but it’s fun and unique at times. The musical was one of my favorite parts in the game 😂
