Колодій pronouns like Kolodìj with long i and accent on i , like in a word "knee" [ ni:] 🤗 Funny fact that with Lithuanian subtitles i understand everything and the most of it literally. So i feel some connection with this language. Let's the learning journey begins! Have to find some books. And learn the pronouns of single sounds and diphthongs.
Hi, thanks for the comment and clarifying the pronunciation! Regarding books: I highly suggest picking up a student book called “Sėkmės.” It’s a great student book for beginners and it would help to build a strong foundation. You can buy a paper back or a pdf online. Here’s the link: www.vu.lt/leidyba/knygos/sekmes :)
Sometimes i watch some Lithuanian reels and i can understand everything they say because i am Latvian, but i didn't understand anything from this story.. Perhaps because i am a zirga galva? 🐴🐴 Yeehaw
Haha, nah, I don't think it's because of that! This video has some specific words that might have been a bit tough to understand if you haven't encountered them before. Try reading the video's transcription which you can find on my website and translate some of the unknown words with Rememberry. It will help to build up the necessary vocabulary! I’m sorry, I didn’t really understand the comment. These seem to be names of people. Were you trying to tag someone?
