hi can you tell me how to get onliny one record from the database for the specific id.
I tried
$result = mysql_query("SELECT id, full_name FROM my_table WHERE id = '$id' LIMIT 1");
but it give error that id in undefined if I define the id throw if(isset($_GET['id'])){ $id = $_GET['id']; it returns blank page.
Please help me.

Sir please i want to query my database that is the private messages table. But in displaying to the logged in user i want it display in the sense that messages from a specific user will not appear twice. Just like it is done in facebook. A user appears only once.
