Courtney's position in early TDI is precarious af, she comes off as annoying and not helpful to her teammates, which put a huge target on her back. That is aggravated because the Bass loses a lot in early TDI, meaning she's even more at risk of getting voted off. The what if scenarios frequently getting her eliminated at the slightest flutter of the butterfly's wings are indications of that. Edit: Ezekiel's sexism and Eva's insanely extreme rage is what saved Courtney. Dealing with Duncan in the dodgeball episode helped her prove herself a little to her team, and by the time the Bass started losing again, she had enough time to draw Duncan's eye and bond a little with the others, meaning she was less likely to get targeted. Duncan liking her was a major stoke of luck to her, as his friends (being good bros) became organically less likely to vote on Courtney too.
You're my favoutie channel who makes "What IF" scenarios for TD because you go so much more in depth about everything. Not just how different the challenges and eliminations would play out, but also the dynamics. I don't mind that you take your time to carefully lay out everything because is just THAT good.

Seeing Alejandro play everyone is always a big treat and him eliminating Gwen was a great move No idea if you have written part 2 already but I think Duncan would steal Chef's boat and get back to the island once he learns that Harold rigged him out. We know that the eliminated players somehow see what happens on the island so he would learn about it quickly. He would probably get back after the 1st merge boot goes away
I love how you take characters who were kind of dead space in the og(Katie, Sadie, Justin, even Tyler, Cody,) and give them actual arcs and development that they didn’t get in the actual show. I love your videos and your rewrites are always so creative while managing to stay true to how the characters would act with their established personalities. Keep up the good work!:)
I adore what you came up with the diary plotline! Actually genius. Current predictions are that the finalists will be between Cody, Katie, Bridgette, Heather, an/or Alejandro. They just seem like they have the most going for them at the moment and feel the most important to the plot. Of course that could all change during the merge and someone else could start gaining a bunch of attention. I'm interested to see if Izzy and Eva still rejoin or if you pull a fast one on us and have someone like Gwen come back instead... Assuming that Alejandro and Sierra's presence hasn't taken away the rejoin spot anyway. Super excited for the next part!
Probably the best rewrite of total drama I've ever seen. Seeing characters I don't really like like Justin and the twins get character development is so interesting. I'm impressied with how can you create this different dynamics and it still feels like the characters would actually act this way if this was canon story. I'm not a fan of shipping and I prefer characters who are strategist thinking how to win a game but in this story this different couples just works perfectly. People just want to date but it's often has to be stopped because their allies don't want them distracted from the game and this creates conflicts and drama. Also I like the parallels between Heather and Alejandro - both of them betraying their close allies - Beth and Justin two times in a row. Alejandro should be called the eavesdroper with how frequently he listens to someone's conversation xD But it's totally in his character to do so - he wants to have everything under control at all times. He'll definitely get farther into the game than Heather - his smooth talk and thinking ahead of the time is just better than Heather who can barely control herself from anger. This Gwen's framing storyline is just sooo good. Peak cinema. People responsible for total drama should hire you bro.
Oh my god this was so good! I really love how most of characters were well utilized in this storyline. Even if characters like gwen got booted out early, her elimination was still very important part of your rewrite because of the investigation. It's kinda sad that Duncan and Courtney got eliminated early but seeing characters like Justin, Beth, Cody and katie and sadie having bigger role is so cool. Besides that I really like how you fixed Sierra character and made her relationship with Cody make sense but still - the Best part of it is Alejandro and Heather. I love their relationship so much and it's so interesting to see them working together instead of against each other. They are such a power evil couple and the way how they scheme against others and when they work together and destroy people's life is jest hilarious. Also I appreciate the fact that when alejandro is here, heather's plot armor is smaller and her actions are much smarter and their strategy is overall better. I kinda like this storyline better than original at this point XD
i dont think her relationship with cody was meant to have sense in the OG till the end. sierra was made as a parody of all the crazy cody fangirls that existed out there. iirc they parodied trents too in one TDA episode but yeah, total drama was big back in the day, in the same way naruto, sonic and other fandoms back then.
This is good, but I kind of wish that Noah got like, more development because I feel like him and Alejandro could have become, unlikely friends or something due to their personalities. I could imagine Noah being like “you might have everyone else fooled, but I know EXACTLY who you are.”
Honestly i'd trade Noah developpement for Katie and Sadie being actual characters, since i've seen alot of people develop Noah's character but not for Katie and Sadie
TDI Idea: What If Chris assigned the teams as the campers were introduced? Screaming Gophers: Beth, DJ, Gwen, Geoff, Lindsay, Heather, Duncan, Tyler, Harold, Trent, Bridgette. Killer Bass: Noah, Leshawna, Katie, Sadie, Ezekiel, Cody, Eva, Owen, Courtney, Justin, Izzy.
The Gophers would lose the first challenge because Beth and DJ wouldn't jump meaning that she is out, so Heather would need to find another person for her alliance since she originally starts her plan during The Big Sleep
Oooh this was another interesting one! Immediately agree with the team placements of Alejandro and Sierra to even out the genders. Again I have to praise you for your world building and expansion on character dynamics! The Justin/Katie storyline was great as was the Cody trying to avenge Gwen’s early exit plot. The big Gopher alliance is also very complicated and entertaining. While I would absolutely watch one long video, I will just as readily watch two videos for parts one and two. And if a two parter is easier on you, then I support that! I’d rather get one really awesome part and have to wait than not get any awesome videos and have to wait. Going into the merge it looks set up for Alejandro to turn on Heather, but it would be neat if she found a way to turn the tables on him. Thematically the bike race episode would be good for that. Bridgette Geoff if they don’t get split up soon will probably make endgame together similar to the What If Ezekiel wasn’t sexist timeline. I imagine DJ will still get eliminated during the Horror challenge. If Katie lasts until the top five then she’d almost certainly get voted out by the playa de losers with Sadie already there.
I really really like this first part. It felt well developed, and I liked that you gave some of the early boots, actually story lines. My favorite has to be Justin and Katie's storyline with Justin being way nicer than in canon (though I will say it will feel kinda jarring seeing him go evil in Action). As for an idea (that doesn't lose you), I actually thought that you could possibly do some what-ifs on Disventure Camp since it's quite a similar show and I think it would be nice to see something like that. Anyways, it's a great part, and I can't wait to see how the rest of the season plays (my only worry is it didn't look like you're doing an elimination for episode 14 so I don't know how you'll get rid of people in the merge). Edit: I just realized that you're probably not bringing anybody back.

i’ve always hated how katie and sadie were just filler characters, so i did rewrite them more than once. i think that yours is actually way better, props for that!
I feel as if Sierra maybe could fend off the bear because once Cody was in danger in world tour, Sierra was able to drag to whole cast on swan boats off a waterfall with her teeth and her legs (however this could be because Cody said "if we live i will let Sierra kiss me"
35:02 Yeah , bears are really strong but we have to keep in mind that in the episode “ hawaiian punch “ cody got eaten by a shark and sierra literally went and grabbed the shark by the tail and started *violently throwing the shark up and down until it dropped cody .* so yes , i imagine that sierra could beat a bear in a fight
yep...admittedly looking back at the clips, in Island they do get to bring their stuff, I was thinking of hearing that line from a revenge of the island rewatch I did awhile back and remembered that most seasons contestants don't get to bring their belongings but Island is the stand out that does have that. either way the diary staying on the island after Gwen got eliminated, didn't really play a huge part in the events that happened after (plus I could see Gwen wanting to not take her diary after it made everyone think she was creepy)
I enjoyed this a lot! I really hope you don't go with Izzy and Eva for the returns. There's so many other characters with more interesting plot relevance. Justin is my boy but for this story I think it would be interesting to bring back Gwen and maybe Courtney for the drama.
yo bro i have an idea for a what if scenario. what if Duncan didn’t quit in tdwt. i feel like him still being in the game would be really interesting seeing his interactions with Alejandro earlier on in the season, what could happen between him Gwen and Courtney with them all being on the same team, and how he’d do in earlier challenges.

This was great! It always bothered me that on Island, the few episodds Katie was in she was silent for half of them. Same with Sadie who was silent until the episode she got voted off. I believe Katie should have been the one to last as she is noted for being more independent than Sadie. It also always bothered me that out of all the veterans, Katie (and then Sadie) have gone the longest without competing again. So two thumbs up for upgrading them from background characters to having an actual alliance! I was living for Justin having feelings for Katie and the heart to heart with Sadie. I will say that, I know Sierra taking on a bear is so out of the loop of reality...though when Cody is in question I feel like anything is possible for her. Eva managed to manhandle Sasquatchanakwa, and Heather beats down a Pterodactyl creature in Action for her hair. Courtney also knocked out several sharks in Action, so maybe Sierra could take down the bear to show how crazy she can be for Cody.
Yes but hinestly taking total dram inconcistency it's understandable that he made it this way. Like Courtney on one hand Beats shark in action and then ties with gwen in all stars. The same for heather who is seriously weak in fights against humans and somehow beats the pterodactyl so it's firgivable to sometimes break the logic for purpose of story because that is a thing which could actually go in story

I love this so much. Somehow you’re able to convey such a convincing and interesting story with the tiniest changes and I find that really admiring. Plus your voice is really soothing so that makes it 100x better. I can’t wait for part 2!

This was a pretty neat watch, and I think its cool that some characrers that originally got elimated early can be fleshed out a bit more, but I will say I think Tyler should be doing more, since he's lasted way longer this time around, but hasn't really done anything to justify keeping him around. I think its a big missed opertunity to not include the jock stereotype in the Extreme Sports challenge. I think it would've been cool to have Tyler in place of Harold and either have him win the challenge for the Bass, or screw it up and lose it in his typical clums fasion. As of right now though, He hasn't really done anything of note in this hypothetical and I think he should either have some sort of importance, or get eliminated.
i've seen a couple others share this sentiment with Tyler and I get it, but personally i don't really see Tyler as a character that is made to be super plot heavy. doesn't mean he's bad or not getting as much time to shine, the best way I can explain it is talking about his appearance in World Tour. I can sum up all Tyler did that season in a few sentences. Wanted to get Lindsay to notice him. Lindsay noticed him and they have some cute couple scenes. Saw Gwen and Duncan kiss. Told people Gwen and Duncan kiss. That's about all he did that actually plot relevant that season in 13 episodes and that doesn't mean he's a bad character who needed to do more that season (it would've been nice but you get the point) he was made as comedic relief and does that very well (probably one of if not my favorite comedic character) and I imagine he would still have a bunch of short funny moments in this what if, but none of them are really big enough to be worth mentioning (especially in a video that's already 1hr and 10 minutes) I can totally see where you're coming from but most of what Tyler is doing this season is with Lindsay and just having one off character moments. (also not spoiling anything but after finishing writing the back half of the season I definitely already have ideas of how Tyler can get fleshed out next season, so I guess short assessment of this is just that this isn't Tyler's season)
2:13 I disagree that it would be a lot more interesting, as this version here changed so much from the original. If Sierra was on the Gophers and Alejandro was on the bass, I think like, the first seven eliminations would remain unchanged and I think this version would play out a lot more similarly to the original, whereas the version where Alejandro is a gopher and Sierra is on bass changes so much and I think this is more interesting
My prediction for part 2: Episode 15: Since we have 12 people left, no one returns. Leshawna still wins. Alejandro could, but I feel like he’d throw it to not put a target on his back. The bass guys are all against Harold, which also brings in Lindsay and Bridgette, which brings in Katie. Alejandro tries to save Harold, but it’s unsuccessful. Harold confesses his love to Leshawna on his way out, which makes Leshawna realise something. Alejandro lied to her. She is out to get Alejandro. Episode 16: Heather noticed Tyler helping Lindsay during the challenge. She wants a plan to break them up, so like the original where she broke Gwen and Trent up, she makes a plan to get Lindsay and Tyler broken up. Alejandro, not wanting Heather to put a target on her back, again, gives a different suggestion; they trick someone to kiss Tyler in order to break up Lindsay and Tyler? Who do I think they’d trick? Since Leshawna is gunning for both of them and she’s a very strong player, I feel like she’d be their target. So Alejandro feels like he should betray Heather to get her out since he has a deal with Lindsay and Tyler, however, she knows it was his plan to frame Gwen, so he wouldn’t want her gone just yet. He assists with the breakup by pretending to apologise to Leshawna then… trips her up to make Tyler and Leshawna kiss. Heather makes sure Lindsay witnesses. Heather wins immunity like the original, and since Leshawna is a stronger player, she’d get targeted in the vote over Tyler. Leshawna knows what Alejandro did so she vites him, and Cody and Trent wouldn’t fall for the truck so easily and would also vote Alejandro. However, it’s not enough to counter Bridgette’s, Katie’s, Alejandro’s, Heather’s, Lindsay’s, Geoff’s and DJ’s votes on Leshawna, and it doesn’t matter what Tyler does. Alejandro gets the final marshmallow and Leshawna is sent home. Episode 17: No Duncan, no guy’s alliance. I feel like Alejandro would last the longest without being caught, and Heather would still find DJ, winning immunity. Tyler, trying to make things up with Lindsay, tries to convince her that he didn’t kiss Leshawna on purpose, Lindsay hears him out and believes him, she’s now out to get Heather for lying. However, she can’t vote Heather since she still has immunity for capturing DJ. Lindsay, Tyler, Cody and Trent make an alliance against Heather and Al. However, since they both have invincibility, they vote Tyler or Lindsay. I think Heather would be annoyed at Tyler, and since Bridgette, Geoff, DJ and Katie believe he cheated on Lindsay, they vote Tyler as well. Tyler is eliminated. Episode 18: Lindsay doesn’t build Heather’s bike, instead she focuses on her own. I think that Trent’s, Bridgette’s, Cody’s, Alejandro’s and Lindsay’s bikes would make it across round 1. Whoever got Heather’s one she had to make herself loses on purpose so she can’t win, but that actually keeps her safe. I think the results would be as follows: 1st - Alejandro 2nd - Lindsay 3rd - Trent 4th - Bridgette Cody wipes out Bridgette is unfairly kicked off. Episode 19: Heather still scares DJ, he still gets out. Uh I am too lazy to finish this 😅 I’ll just predict the final elimination order: 24th-Courtney 23rd-Eva 22nd-Noah 21s-Gwen 20th-Ezekiel 19th-Owen 18th-Izzy 17th-Sierra 16th-Justin 15th-Beth 14th-Sadie 13th-Duncan 12th-Harold 11th-Leshawna 10th-Tyler 9th-Bridgette 8th-DJ 7th-Lindsay 6th-Geoff 5th-Katie 4th-Alejandro 3rd-Cody Finale: Heather vs Trent

The only problem I see with this thought experiment is that now the entire season revolves around Alejandro (and a little bit of Sierra), instead of him just being another camper added to the cast.

im not against the idea but doing island rewrites recently I noticed one big thing and its that personally, to me, the cast is too big. for the first like 7 episodes they are lot of characters that either don't get screen time or have to switch getting screen time, I actually do like the idea and it is on my list of ideas but it would also have to be a long video and I kinda wanna do some shorter what ifs after this one since doing 2 two parters it a row was A LOT of writing.

Ideas: 1. What would have happened if the sisters had not caused the elimination of the best friends in the amazing race? 2. What Would Happen If The Reality Experts And The Sisters Never Make An Alliance? 3. What if The Sisters Came Second In Awesome Race?
I think Cody should have been the one being damaged since the curse was for the screaming gophers and Sierra was on the Killer Bass team, I actually can see both being Damaged and out of the game. I speculate Gwen and Duncan are coming back on No Pain, No Game, I don’t know what could happen with the diary but she’ll find out at some point, and for Duncan it’ll be justice and he’ll tell that Harold changed the votes so he’ll get eliminated in here, I would say all the truth about Alejandro comes out since Harold at leaving confesses to Leshawna, making her realize what’s going on with his flirting, the alliance he had with Harold, suspect about Gwen’s diary and tell the others Alejandro isn’t trustworthy maybe. I think Gwen and Duncan are important additions (like, who can get enough of Duncan?), this also means there’ll not be more non elimination episodes, on my way for part 2 lol, on search and destroy, Trent leaves like on the original, that’s why I added Gwen, I don’t see any of it changing. After that I would like this to be the elimination order: Katie (some sort of betrayal because she choses heather, it could be Geoff’s fault because of Bridgette being upset since she supported her, or simply Heather doing another slay) Tyler (also got manipulated by heather but instead of Lindsay it was him, and now Lindsay changed his mind and she still says what heather deserves on this episode) DJ Bridgette (similar to her og elimination but on this episode) Geoff Leshawna Gwen Alejandro Heather (She must be shaved, Duncan helps Lindsay) Duncan and Lindsay wins 🖤💛 (but I would also love a Lindsay vs Heather)
i'll be honest in saying that I really just don't get how the curse practically applies to any extent of the original, it really felt more like a made up thing that the show created to get Beth eliminated but the curse wasn't presented in a way that I could confidently say it was the cause of any bad things that happened (maybe if it flashed the curse totem in Beth's pocket right before or as Cody was getting mauled then I would see the correlation) nice prediction on the elimination order! always really fun to see people speculate
WHAT IF.... in the episode "I see London..." Chris Said that if Zeeke won the challange he would've been allowed back into the game, SO WHAT IF... Noah and Owen never caught Zeeke and he won the challange?
Only gripe i have is some of the cartoon plot armor like dj winning the challenge pushing the boat with everyone on like they did in the original, but as soon as you eliminated courtney first i knew you were gonna make some changes with logic, i like hypotheticals like these

I love how you take characters who were kind of dead space in the og(Katie, Sadie, Justin, even Tyler, Cody,) and give them actual arcs and development that they didn’t get in the actual show. I love your videos and your rewrites are always so creative while managing to stay true to how the characters would act with their established personalities. Keep up the good work!:)
I adore what you came up with the diary plotline! Actually genius. Current predictions are that the finalists will be between Cody, Katie, Bridgette, Heather, an/or Alejandro. They just seem like they have the most going for them at the moment and feel the most important to the plot. Of course that could all change during the merge and someone else could start gaining a bunch of attention. I'm interested to see if Izzy and Eva still rejoin or if you pull a fast one on us and have someone like Gwen come back instead... Assuming that Alejandro and Sierra's presence hasn't taken away the rejoin spot anyway. Super excited for the next part!

Probably the best rewrite of total drama I've ever seen. Seeing characters I don't really like like Justin and the twins get character development is so interesting. I'm impressied with how can you create this different dynamics and it still feels like the characters would actually act this way if this was canon story.
I'm not a fan of shipping and I prefer characters who are strategist thinking how to win a game but in this story this different couples just works perfectly. People just want to date but it's often has to be stopped because their allies don't want them distracted from the game and this creates conflicts and drama.
Also I like the parallels between Heather and Alejandro - both of them betraying their close allies - Beth and Justin two times in a row. Alejandro should be called the eavesdroper with how frequently he listens to someone's conversation xD But it's totally in his character to do so - he wants to have everything under control at all times. He'll definitely get farther into the game than Heather - his smooth talk and thinking ahead of the time is just better than Heather who can barely control herself from anger.
This Gwen's framing storyline is just sooo good. Peak cinema. People responsible for total drama should hire you bro.

Oh my god this was so good! I really love how most of characters were well utilized in this storyline. Even if characters like gwen got booted out early, her elimination was still very important part of your rewrite because of the investigation. It's kinda sad that Duncan and Courtney got eliminated early but seeing characters like Justin, Beth, Cody and katie and sadie having bigger role is so cool. Besides that I really like how you fixed Sierra character and made her relationship with Cody make sense but still - the Best part of it is Alejandro and Heather. I love their relationship so much and it's so interesting to see them working together instead of against each other. They are such a power evil couple and the way how they scheme against others and when they work together and destroy people's life is jest hilarious. Also I appreciate the fact that when alejandro is here, heather's plot armor is smaller and her actions are much smarter and their strategy is overall better. I kinda like this storyline better than original at this point XD
i dont think her relationship with cody was meant to have sense in the OG till the end. sierra was made as a parody of all the crazy cody fangirls that existed out there. iirc they parodied trents too in one TDA episode but yeah, total drama was big back in the day, in the same way naruto, sonic and other fandoms back then.

Screaming Gophers: Beth, DJ, Gwen, Geoff, Lindsay, Heather, Duncan, Tyler, Harold, Trent, Bridgette.
Killer Bass: Noah, Leshawna, Katie, Sadie, Ezekiel, Cody, Eva, Owen, Courtney, Justin, Izzy.
The Gophers would lose the first challenge because Beth and DJ wouldn't jump meaning that she is out, so Heather would need to find another person for her alliance since she originally starts her plan during The Big Sleep

Oooh this was another interesting one! Immediately agree with the team placements of Alejandro and Sierra to even out the genders. Again I have to praise you for your world building and expansion on character dynamics! The Justin/Katie storyline was great as was the Cody trying to avenge Gwen’s early exit plot. The big Gopher alliance is also very complicated and entertaining.
While I would absolutely watch one long video, I will just as readily watch two videos for parts one and two. And if a two parter is easier on you, then I support that! I’d rather get one really awesome part and have to wait than not get any awesome videos and have to wait.
Going into the merge it looks set up for Alejandro to turn on Heather, but it would be neat if she found a way to turn the tables on him. Thematically the bike race episode would be good for that. Bridgette Geoff if they don’t get split up soon will probably make endgame together similar to the What If Ezekiel wasn’t sexist timeline. I imagine DJ will still get eliminated during the Horror challenge. If Katie lasts until the top five then she’d almost certainly get voted out by the playa de losers with Sadie already there.

I really really like this first part. It felt well developed, and I liked that you gave some of the early boots, actually story lines. My favorite has to be Justin and Katie's storyline with Justin being way nicer than in canon (though I will say it will feel kinda jarring seeing him go evil in Action). As for an idea (that doesn't lose you), I actually thought that you could possibly do some what-ifs on Disventure Camp since it's quite a similar show and I think it would be nice to see something like that. Anyways, it's a great part, and I can't wait to see how the rest of the season plays (my only worry is it didn't look like you're doing an elimination for episode 14 so I don't know how you'll get rid of people in the merge).

i’ve always hated how katie and sadie were just filler characters, so i did rewrite them more than once. i think that yours is actually way better, props for that!
I feel as if Sierra maybe could fend off the bear because once Cody was in danger in world tour, Sierra was able to drag to whole cast on swan boats off a waterfall with her teeth and her legs (however this could be because Cody said "if we live i will let Sierra kiss me"

yep...admittedly looking back at the clips, in Island they do get to bring their stuff, I was thinking of hearing that line from a revenge of the island rewatch I did awhile back and remembered that most seasons contestants don't get to bring their belongings but Island is the stand out that does have that.
either way the diary staying on the island after Gwen got eliminated, didn't really play a huge part in the events that happened after (plus I could see Gwen wanting to not take her diary after it made everyone think she was creepy)
I enjoyed this a lot! I really hope you don't go with Izzy and Eva for the returns. There's so many other characters with more interesting plot relevance.
Justin is my boy but for this story I think it would be interesting to bring back Gwen and maybe Courtney for the drama.

I would disagree with Chris bringing anyone back with how many people there are and the fact that it breaks a challenge later on.
This was great! It always bothered me that on Island, the few episodds Katie was in she was silent for half of them. Same with Sadie who was silent until the episode she got voted off. I believe Katie should have been the one to last as she is noted for being more independent than Sadie. It also always bothered me that out of all the veterans, Katie (and then Sadie) have gone the longest without competing again. So two thumbs up for upgrading them from background characters to having an actual alliance! I was living for Justin having feelings for Katie and the heart to heart with Sadie.
I will say that, I know Sierra taking on a bear is so out of the loop of reality...though when Cody is in question I feel like anything is possible for her. Eva managed to manhandle Sasquatchanakwa, and Heather beats down a Pterodactyl creature in Action for her hair. Courtney also knocked out several sharks in Action, so maybe Sierra could take down the bear to show how crazy she can be for Cody.
Yes but hinestly taking total dram inconcistency it's understandable that he made it this way. Like Courtney on one hand Beats shark in action and then ties with gwen in all stars. The same for heather who is seriously weak in fights against humans and somehow beats the pterodactyl so it's firgivable to sometimes break the logic for purpose of story because that is a thing which could actually go in story

This was a pretty neat watch, and I think its cool that some characrers that originally got elimated early can be fleshed out a bit more, but I will say I think Tyler should be doing more, since he's lasted way longer this time around, but hasn't really done anything to justify keeping him around. I think its a big missed opertunity to not include the jock stereotype in the Extreme Sports challenge. I think it would've been cool to have Tyler in place of Harold and either have him win the challenge for the Bass, or screw it up and lose it in his typical clums fasion. As of right now though, He hasn't really done anything of note in this hypothetical and I think he should either have some sort of importance, or get eliminated.
i've seen a couple others share this sentiment with Tyler and I get it, but personally i don't really see Tyler as a character that is made to be super plot heavy. doesn't mean he's bad or not getting as much time to shine, the best way I can explain it is talking about his appearance in World Tour.
I can sum up all Tyler did that season in a few sentences.
Wanted to get Lindsay to notice him.
Lindsay noticed him and they have some cute couple scenes.
Saw Gwen and Duncan kiss.
Told people Gwen and Duncan kiss.
That's about all he did that actually plot relevant that season in 13 episodes and that doesn't mean he's a bad character who needed to do more that season (it would've been nice but you get the point) he was made as comedic relief and does that very well (probably one of if not my favorite comedic character) and I imagine he would still have a bunch of short funny moments in this what if, but none of them are really big enough to be worth mentioning (especially in a video that's already 1hr and 10 minutes) I can totally see where you're coming from but most of what Tyler is doing this season is with Lindsay and just having one off character moments.
(also not spoiling anything but after finishing writing the back half of the season I definitely already have ideas of how Tyler can get fleshed out next season, so I guess short assessment of this is just that this isn't Tyler's season)
2:13 I disagree that it would be a lot more interesting, as this version here changed so much from the original. If Sierra was on the Gophers and Alejandro was on the bass, I think like, the first seven eliminations would remain unchanged and I think this version would play out a lot more similarly to the original, whereas the version where Alejandro is a gopher and Sierra is on bass changes so much and I think this is more interesting

My prediction for part 2:
Episode 15: Since we have 12 people left, no one returns. Leshawna still wins. Alejandro could, but I feel like he’d throw it to not put a target on his back. The bass guys are all against Harold, which also brings in Lindsay and Bridgette, which brings in Katie. Alejandro tries to save Harold, but it’s unsuccessful. Harold confesses his love to Leshawna on his way out, which makes Leshawna realise something. Alejandro lied to her. She is out to get Alejandro.
Episode 16: Heather noticed Tyler helping Lindsay during the challenge. She wants a plan to break them up, so like the original where she broke Gwen and Trent up, she makes a plan to get Lindsay and Tyler broken up. Alejandro, not wanting Heather to put a target on her back, again, gives a different suggestion; they trick someone to kiss Tyler in order to break up Lindsay and Tyler? Who do I think they’d trick? Since Leshawna is gunning for both of them and she’s a very strong player, I feel like she’d be their target. So Alejandro feels like he should betray Heather to get her out since he has a deal with Lindsay and Tyler, however, she knows it was his plan to frame Gwen, so he wouldn’t want her gone just yet. He assists with the breakup by pretending to apologise to Leshawna then… trips her up to make Tyler and Leshawna kiss. Heather makes sure Lindsay witnesses. Heather wins immunity like the original, and since Leshawna is a stronger player, she’d get targeted in the vote over Tyler. Leshawna knows what Alejandro did so she vites him, and Cody and Trent wouldn’t fall for the truck so easily and would also vote Alejandro. However, it’s not enough to counter Bridgette’s, Katie’s, Alejandro’s, Heather’s, Lindsay’s, Geoff’s and DJ’s votes on Leshawna, and it doesn’t matter what Tyler does. Alejandro gets the final marshmallow and Leshawna is sent home.
Episode 17: No Duncan, no guy’s alliance. I feel like Alejandro would last the longest without being caught, and Heather would still find DJ, winning immunity. Tyler, trying to make things up with Lindsay, tries to convince her that he didn’t kiss Leshawna on purpose, Lindsay hears him out and believes him, she’s now out to get Heather for lying. However, she can’t vote Heather since she still has immunity for capturing DJ. Lindsay, Tyler, Cody and Trent make an alliance against Heather and Al. However, since they both have invincibility, they vote Tyler or Lindsay. I think Heather would be annoyed at Tyler, and since Bridgette, Geoff, DJ and Katie believe he cheated on Lindsay, they vote Tyler as well. Tyler is eliminated.
Episode 18: Lindsay doesn’t build Heather’s bike, instead she focuses on her own. I think that Trent’s, Bridgette’s, Cody’s, Alejandro’s and Lindsay’s bikes would make it across round 1. Whoever got Heather’s one she had to make herself loses on purpose so she can’t win, but that actually keeps her safe. I think the results would be as follows:
1st - Alejandro
2nd - Lindsay
3rd - Trent
4th - Bridgette
Cody wipes out
Bridgette is unfairly kicked off.
Episode 19: Heather still scares DJ, he still gets out.

im not against the idea but doing island rewrites recently I noticed one big thing and its that personally, to me, the cast is too big. for the first like 7 episodes they are lot of characters that either don't get screen time or have to switch getting screen time, I actually do like the idea and it is on my list of ideas but it would also have to be a long video and I kinda wanna do some shorter what ifs after this one since doing 2 two parters it a row was A LOT of writing.

I think Cody should have been the one being damaged since the curse was for the screaming gophers and Sierra was on the Killer Bass team, I actually can see both being Damaged and out of the game.
I speculate Gwen and Duncan are coming back on No Pain, No Game, I don’t know what could happen with the diary but she’ll find out at some point, and for Duncan it’ll be justice and he’ll tell that Harold changed the votes so he’ll get eliminated in here, I would say all the truth about Alejandro comes out since Harold at leaving confesses to Leshawna, making her realize what’s going on with his flirting, the alliance he had with Harold, suspect about Gwen’s diary and tell the others Alejandro isn’t trustworthy maybe.
I think Gwen and Duncan are important additions (like, who can get enough of Duncan?), this also means there’ll not be more non elimination episodes, on my way for part 2 lol, on search and destroy, Trent leaves like on the original, that’s why I added Gwen, I don’t see any of it changing.
After that I would like this to be the elimination order:
Katie (some sort of betrayal because she choses heather, it could be Geoff’s fault because of Bridgette being upset since she supported her, or simply Heather doing another slay)
Tyler (also got manipulated by heather but instead of Lindsay it was him, and now Lindsay changed his mind and she still says what heather deserves on this episode)

i'll be honest in saying that I really just don't get how the curse practically applies to any extent of the original, it really felt more like a made up thing that the show created to get Beth eliminated but the curse wasn't presented in a way that I could confidently say it was the cause of any bad things that happened (maybe if it flashed the curse totem in Beth's pocket right before or as Cody was getting mauled then I would see the correlation)

Feel like Zeke probably would be in either Team Chris instead of Duncan and the London challenge would be a reward challenge.
Only gripe i have is some of the cartoon plot armor like dj winning the challenge pushing the boat with everyone on like they did in the original, but as soon as you eliminated courtney first i knew you were gonna make some changes with logic, i like hypotheticals like these
