Meh, I'm a mom and I feel exactly the same thing when I look at my amazing kids.
As a grown man, I have never enjoyed crying so much through a show! There's so many great scenes that hit so hard in the feels, backed with tremendous acting. Hands down my favorite and top 3 (number 1) lol
this was the second time i was crying . First time i cried when they left Ragnar . Third time when Ragnar was on the a boat , and he had a vision about his past and saw Lagertha and Bjorn and Gida and Athelstan ..

The season’s after Ragnar died aren’t that great. However the season’s where Ragnar was alive I absolutely agree.
This was one of the most heart touching moments in this show for me. Love them both so much.

Ragnar was a proud father to Bjorn and Bjorn was a son who never wanted to let his father down.
My father and I fell out 17 years ago, when I was a teenage girl. We met up for breakfast recently, and he said, "I always felt you would come back to me one day." I didn't know exactly what emotion was behind the expression in his face, but it reminded me of this. We, too, hugged the second we saw one another.

I swear to gawd the actress that plays Lagertha is one of the most beautiful women I have ever seen on film or in person. Why she isn’t as prominent as Scarlet Johansson and Margot Robbie in Hollywood is a mystery to me. Absolutely perfect face and the rest of her is fantastic as well.
Travis Fimmel’s acting in this scene is superb

Bjorn was Ragnar's favorite, the son he loved most.
I knew how great Bjorn's character would be by the way Ragnar would grow in every scene they shared... especially of them alone.
