I've just swapped my E92 M3 2013 1 of 500 limited edition LCI for F82 M4 running 530/550 bhp and 720nm of torque the difference in performance from the E92 is unreal ... awesome video 🔥🔥
Can't go wrong with either the comp or CS. I daily an F80 m3 comp, but having driven an F80 CS the most noticeable difference that really stood out to me is the suspension tuning, even though they share the same dampers as the comp, the ride is much more compliant and feels much less stiff than the comp package. The comp is pretty stiff and it can feel a bit harsh over joints or dips in the road. No doubt, the CS felt more compliant with undulations in the road. Engine tuning is fairly different as well, but with that said, you can easily tune the comp to the CS parameters for both the suspension and the engine. You can do this via remote tuning, just have to look on the forums. Another thing about the CS is the hood of it looks so damn good, not to mention the suede interior, which both cost quite a bit to "upgrade" to if you have a comp. Additionally, at least here in the US, you barely see CS's, so they definitely stand out as soon as you see that hood and CS badge, so I think there's a lot of draw with how 'exclusive' they are.
M3 F80 comp owner myself, these cars need brake upgrades i went with Litchfield Motors own designed 6 piston front and 6 piston rear big brake kit, Akrapovic titanium exhaust, Bilstein Damptronic B16 suspension, not to mention engine and gearbox maps, best daily imo.
Great video. I own an early non comp F82 and it serves my needs well. Ride is very harsh regardless of suspension setting and am sure the CS and Comps are awesome.
The F series CS are just special. I think the M4 CS should have been a bit more hardcore than it is, a nice black half cage or something, abit more GTS-esque. In fact, I think they shouldn't have done the GTS, just the CS with the GTS bits. Because people don't want to mod such a special model, but they also want it to be a little bit hardcore over the comps. Their's no reason for BMW to gatekeep a 'from factory' prepped model like the GTS to such exclusivity.
I think BMW did enough with the CS to make it feel hardcore for the road and track combined, it’s the perfect car for fast road driving and the occasional track day.
Love it, i love my own 2016 Comp pack F80 M3 which for the period still had the carbon fibre prop shaft. I would be interested to see both the M3 CS and M4 CS compared with each other. Or even if someone had a M3 30 Jahre Edition as a comparison. My personal M3 is running Hyrbids. And she is a bit of a monster. Would be interested to see what your thoughts are on it compare to your CS.
@ that would be interesting and then if you could do back to back videos of F80 generation of CS vs new G80 CS cars. And last time mine was Dyno with the fresh Hybrids at the time it was putting g out around 666bhp. Need to get new Dyno sometime to see if that’s changed at all. 😌
Agree for the big boy models but the RS3 8Y interior quality is absolutely terrible. If people made knock-off cars, you'd think it was a knock-off Audi 🤣

Nice! That’s cool upgrade and congratulations sounds awesome!

I agree with you, you definitely feel the difference with the CS. It’s hard to part with a car like that too
brilliant video as always, very well edited too
Thanks Richard 🙌
Another flawless production Matt, keep rolling 'em out !
Thanks!

That’s some amazing modifications! Definitely agree on the stock brakes unless you have carbon ceramics…
Great video mate - came over from Tiktok and subscribed 👍
Thanks Luke! Welcome to the channel and happy watching 👊

Thanks Paul. My ride is harsh too but get it over to Europe on the smooth surface and it changes the car
They both sound so much better than my g80 🤘💯😁
Really? The G80’s sound awesome too

Love my purple f83. I had an e46 before but this is so much more.
Nice! Purple F83 👌
Have you ever driven a Manual f80 comp?
I never had would love to though!
I'd have the M4CS but in orange
Thought you were one for a black car Nosh
@ Orange is the new black
🤣
@@noshism😂

It would be good to compare the two CS models even more now the new CS models are out. Your F80 sounds a beast! What’s it running?

You could just tune the Comp to CS specs.
You could do. Cost you a lot of money though, best of just buying one
In all fairness, the CS is a better drivers car but it isn't £20k better
But it’s hard to get a better drivers car for the money of a CS
BMW does do a good interior, and yes better than Mercedes but Audi gets the win from me…….
I will agree Troy
