    I've always like this method better because the calculations are simpler. but important FYI, to those studying for PMP exam. if you start with zero, all your ES times will be wrong for purposes of the pmi exam. PMI exam requires you to start with 1

      Kevin Duncan ...that's exactly where I am, find out that some books begins in1 and others in 0....cannot be sure what's should be the correct way for PMP exam.

    At 5:58 you mentioned that the critical path is identified by the activities that have the same early finish and late finish, however, there can be scenarios where all the activities along the diagram have the same early finish and late finish. Would that mean you have more than one critical path?

    • @Engineer4Free
      @Engineer4Free  3 года назад +2

      Yep. You can have more than one critical path.

    I started with 1, in ES of Activity A at the beginning and finally ended up with no critical path! I wish you could calculate from the day 1 not 0. For example my final result accordingto PMBOK, for activity A, is become as follows:
    A: ES=1, LS=0, EF=3, LF=2.
    B: ES=4, LS=3, EF=7, LF= 6.
    C: ES=4, EF= 5, LS=9, LF=10.
    And so on!
    Please share your result when you tried!
    Thank you!
