Well done for sticking with it though as you've said it's likely only a remap will solve the fuelling issue, me I prefer stealth mode rather than a loud pipe
@@ivanrushtonthelonewolfrides it's a bit of a ball ache. My 2018 1200GS LC suffered from a flat spot to get it through the EU emissions regs so this might well be something similar. I had it remapped which solved the problem though the gains in performance were not as noticeable as my 2016 GS which went like SOAS after but was from the previous EU regs standard. Luckily my 1250 was flat spot free. Good luck!
A couple of years ago I had a 2002 Honda Hornet 600 with a straight through, 4 into 1 pipe, it sounded wicked at full chat. I am an old boy though, who prefers bikes to sound like bikes and not sewing machines........
Show the doggone link pipe installed on the bike! Also, are you running the silencer in your muffler? BTW, I was able to remove the cat without disconnecting the brake pedal mount. There is room with a ratcheting spanner.
Thanks for the video info I love mine but that roll on snappy throttle is wearing thin on me I’ve had it in a time or too with the dealer but never any updates on the snatching roll on I ride mine on rain mod all the time I got mine end of December and just turned 14,000 miles I’m very very tired of the fuelling… apart from that love the bike
@@stephenbryson5618 I have to admit I am exactly the same as you. Other than I tend to rise on off road mode which is definitely a smoother throttle response. I’m the end I reckon we will all be having re maps by a third party at some time. Please subscribe to my channel lots more coming up
@@mickemmett6828 Mick I’m already deaf completely in my left ear and very poor in my right ear I wear earring aids. Yes I have a remedy for it that you will see soon
Have you tried the throttle remapping.. there's a video on RUclips of how to do it it really quick and simple to do ruclips.net/video/zSCt9Xx_aEg/видео.htmlsi=Ne36QPUVWhBc-1_h
@@Butlerd342 hi mate yes done it loads of times can’t say it made a difference to my bike. I think it helps more with the Touring model than the Explore version as Explore has 6 riding modes. Thanks for your comment please subscribe to my channel there is lots more coming soon
