I was pleased to see you use a brush with these. Because my eyes have receded with age, it’s easier to use a brush, rather than my finger, to get a smooth even coverage over the lids; especially towards the inner corners That Ciel,Dore (golden sky) is particularly beautiful.

Great review! I purchased Gris Doux. At first it felt a bit creepy to me but it did apply nicely when I tapped it onto my lid. I could also blend it out with a brush. It could get a deeper tone or sheer it out. Would I buy another? Probably not.

Those Surratt eyeshadows seem like a staple for summer. Hope they stay put on the lids and that they don't dry out quickly like other eye creams.

wowza! Looks great. How does it respond to oily lids. I struggle with a good primer and then eyeshadow on top sometimes. I don't do cream eyeshadows because the products will just fold up on the eyelids and come off...Does that make sense? Please and thank you as always!
It goes on creamy and then dry to the lid, its my favorite cream eyeshadow for mature lids, just a sheer wash of color (don't go in with a heavy hand). Great to use as an accent, just a dab in the middle or the inner corner.
