Also, as a SAFC fan, can I say how disappointing it is that the Newcastle fans are being herded up and down like cattle on those stupid coaches in some military style operation. You'd swear it was Al Queda coming down or something! What happened to old times when the metro was used as a match day special to St Peters.

I am SAFC thru and thru (and have been for several million years it seems) but I like your channel Eddie. Perhaps if Sunlun can get a draw, for the replay, we can all march up from Ncle Central with a massive banner like those French and Teutonic boys and girls?! Ha ha - that'd be great. But I want EVERYONE who hails from the NE or is related to someone from the NE (and as a result has to follow SAFC - like Jacob (good man!)? - or NUFC) that we should actually stand together against those from elsewhere who have tried to bury us through their misuse of power. I will leave it at that. But you probably know who I mean... Sounds like it IS a big thing for him. OR why would it have got under his skin so very obviously? The Sunderland supporters seemed VERY upset when leaving the SoL after Sunderland 0-4 BORO a couple of months ago. Everyone leaving the ground (many thousands before the whistle) seemed VERY upset at losing to Boro. It wasn't the effect you'd see after a home defeat to, let's say, Cardiff City. As to the FA Cup game on Saturday there are several Geordies at my local pub. It is fair to say that they are "nervous". No idea how it will turn out. Both teams really need to concentrate on the league this season.
It is a local Derby but I don't care much about the rivalry. There isn't much rivalry. Whereas Newcastle fans hate us and some belittle us so we can't lose this game it terms of bragging rights. Sorry to burst your bubble on this one Gary, but Hadrian’s wall was never a border between England & Scotland. It was built around AD122 at a time when a ‘Scotland’ never existed. I'm a Geordie who has lived in Scotland for over forty years, Newcastle v Sunderland is massive, possibly the biggest rivalry in England, but sorry ,it,s NOTHING when compared with the old firm, remember old firm is not just football, it's religious bigotry and hatred, catholics and protestants ,who have hundreds of years of religious hatred ,and wars fought between them, some Spar shops in certain areas ,are blue instead of the normal green, because they will be burned down, stalls outside Parkhead sell pro IRA cd,s ,and orange flute music is sold from stalls outside Ibrox ,its THE biggest rivalry in Britain, without a shadow of a doubt

@mickyd5009 l don't think Boro fans class it as a Derby, it's made more of a point when Sunderland supporters protest against something which Boro fans agree with.
Its pretty obvious on here that most English fans dont have a clue about the historical back ground of Celtic v Rangers! e.g. Started in Ireland (Potato Famine in mid 19th century) caused thousands of starving Irish catholics to move over to Glasgow, where they were treated like shit by Scottish/British protestants (Rangers) and so Celtic was formed by an Irish priest (brother Walfrid) as a charity to raise cash to feed the neglected Irish refugees! Northen Ireland and United Kingdom was created in 1921 for the majority of protestants who wanted to remain British! Celtic were basically a charity team and thats why they are looking after the refugees from Palestine now! Its the only football match in the world, influenced by history, politics and 3 countries (Ireland,Northen Ireland,Scotland) and thats why no other derby in the world can compete with it! Now get on with your chinese take-aways!

Well done Eddie for going down there with colours on. Good craic between everyone. I remember when i was a teenager walking down the Main Street in Blyth my mate had a red and white scarf on not a foot ball scarf a car pulled up and 3 or 4 lads jumped out and kicked seven bells out of us lol. So yes i dont think there is anywhere in the country with this level of rivalry
That’s wasn’t because of the scalf Martin, you were all just very ugly 😃😅
Big Newcastle fan here it's great to see the geordies and Mackhams having bants like this don't happen often
👊🏻👍🏻
Great content Eddie, followed the channel for a while. All good lads and good luck Safc for the weekend. Very, very hard task in hand for sunderland. Atmosphere be like something not seeing for a while. 🔴⚪️
👊🏻👍🏻
Good craic and chat Eddy, nice one !
Glad you enjoyed it Graham 👊🏻👍🏻
@@TynesideLife roll on tomorrow Eddy......should be a cracking game, cracking atmosphere 👍🍻
Great banter. Well done Eddy.
Cheers Kevin 👊🏻
I would expect mackems outside sjp getting fowl mouth abuse under the same circumstances ed
Most definitely 😅
Good video, well done !
👊🏻👍🏻
small correction, you cant walk around parkhead with a rangers top on and you cant walk around govan with a celtic top on
Haven't laughed so much in ages Eddy, love it.
😃
Lovely vid good bit of crack with the Sunderland lads….shoot only be bants / mick taking nothing else oh and the toon to win
as a nufc iv never counted Middlesbrough as a local darby its 39 miles its to far away😮
There is no way you can walk around Glasgow with your colors on .He has never been to an old firm. I used to live in Glasgow let him try walking around the east end or Govan with either top on
He wouldn’t walk around Sunderland like that either. There’s no bugger there. He will have took it off after the interview.
Tyne Wear derby is the most policed game in the UK with sadly the most people arrested for disorder. I don't think he'd walk around the city like that. Newcastle fans have been banned from using public transport to get there on saturday
@@ian_r125 the most policed now because the Glasgow teams don't even let the other fans in their stadium's because they can't guarantee there safety, come on lads let's not be silly, you have a good little derby but it ain't even in the same league as the Glasgow derby
@@frankie-ck9xz Im just making a point of how he probably only wore his colours for his youtube stuff and nowhere else
@@frankie-ck9xz nor did Newcastle and Sunderland for years.
Intense derby this gonna be electric
No seagulls were harmed in the making of this video ..
😅
Love your videos eddy. I am a big fan of yours.
To be fair they do have a nice stadium for a small club
Great video as always Eddie
👊🏻👍🏻
