💬Plot summary:
Fan Xian grew up in a small town by the sea with his grandmother, following a sudden visit of a poison master, his peaceful life quickly morph into one filled with danger and hardship. Not really a surprise when you realize how much the emperor lets him get away with. They have already shown The emperor has no problem making people "disappear". The" family "dinner pretty much sealed it.

WOW. This is the longest talking episode I have ever watched in my life... also the BEST! The secrets just keep revealing one after another.... just wow! Talking has never felt this exciting.
The amount of times my heart almost stopped during this episode.....
I have loved the prisoner xiao since he was introduced. They said he was a killer. I saw something else... A man keeping great secrets. A man protecting someone. A man who had lived through much and who had always tried to live a free life. His relation to xian makes me happy.
I agree and about him making CPP disabled I would say Xiao En was fighting for his country Nothern Qi and CPP massacred his family.
@@bapyongukgukguk2352 oh yeah for sure. Its good to see boths sides of every situation and this show does an awesome job of this. This series is well written and well done. My favorite character is prisoner xiao i wished he had gotten away safe. I wish i could have seen him living a safe peaceful life. The part where he tells xian not to bury him because he never wanted to be underground again moved my heart...such a great episode.
They are not related it's a mind game being played on xiao en by the emperor and Cheng pingping
FX just laughing inside while hearing Xiao En saying he was his grandson, and then totally surprised when he heard ironically about the truth of his real father. We already knew but this is such a good way to found it out. Now I wonder if the gray suitcase is inside of the pound in the courtyard and If what is inside of the Noble Temple are the actual real civilization or just technology that must not be known or a terrible IA. Such interesting history :D

I have to complement the writers of this drama. It’s compelling and paced very well. I love the actors too. The ensemble all work well together and feed on each other’s energy. This is especially true of the Emperor, Fan Xian’s pretend dad and Chen Ping Ping. I want a spin off that tells the story of FX mom and how she rose to power with these men. Anyone who read the novel know if there is more of that? I started the novel but it’s huge. I haven’t even caught up to where the drama is.

They don’t follow the novel 100%, they changed the plot, for example Teng Zi Jing didn’t die in the novel, and Yan Bing Yun didn’t stab Fan Xian in the novel

Ye Qingmei wanted everyone to be equal and be their own masters in the world, but she just randomly gave a top martial arts script to two people she just met without even determining if they're good or bad. And it was a script able to create one of only four grandmasters in the world, who have nearly unchallenged power. Who's she kidding? No wonder she got killed eventually. People who have such imbalanced power and abuse it can't live long.

It not going on break. They have not started filming Season 2 yet. They're still working on the script. They only get the green light for season 2 like a month ago.

I like Xiao En, I feel that his character was noble. He would have been a great grandfather to Fan Xian. I also like the actor who plays him, I’ve seen him in other martial arts movies.
