    One thing I’ve noticed that most reactors and commentors overlook is the fact that Eren only has less than 4 years to live with the curse of Ymir…so it’s very easy for his mind to slip into such extremities to “guarantee” protection for his friends…in his mind he doesn’t have the “luxury” to find a solution that works especially when he’s dead and gone

    In Asia, including Japan, there are twelve signs of the Chinese zodiac. Rat→Ox→Tiger→Rabbit→Dragon→Snake→Horse
    →Sheep→Monkey→ Bird/Chicken→Dog→Boar
    They are in the above order. beast titan is in this order as well. Xaver is Sheep, Zeke is monkey. and Falco was turned into a Titan using Zeke's spinal fluid. So Falco was able to get the memory (and possible abilities) of the next beast titan, the Bird🕊. Sorry for the poor explanation, but I hope you understand....

    Falco is an edgy name of Latin and German origin, meaning "falcon" or "hawk." With a name that embodies freedom and strength, your Falco will spread their wings and fearlessly chase their dreams.
    copy paste from wiki.
    So basically the first time we saw falco he said he had a dream where he was flying + his name itself was a foreshadowing that he will be a titan that can fly. Peak AoT

He said it himself, if anyone were to disagree or oppose him who opposes his freedom, he will take it from them. It's different from our concept of societal freedom, where our freedoms only extend as far as infringing on the freedom of others who deserve/have the same freedom as us.

    • @scubed9227
      @scubed9227 День назад

      @@plaguedoctor5657 that is implied poetically/metaphorically. But the nuance lies in the word 'squeeze out'. Brain is squashed, it isn't squeezed out, as per the scene, so it's a reference meant literally as well. The things that are squeezed out of the skull - are teeth. That is why there is heavy focus by the animation team on the teeth. These details were requested by Isayama, both - 1. the lyric idea to Shinsei Kamattechan (these manga panels were not released when the song was created) & 2. the focus on the scene to the anime studio.
      Another significance of teeth is in the final chapter - Eren pulls up stuff from the pool of blood - He finds hairs and teeth, the things squeezed out after his rumbling...
      My initial thoughts were - brains as well, but it doesn't line up well with the choice of word - wisdom... why would children clinging onto coins at a time like that - be deemed 'wise', so the balance of probability lies with literal sense.

    I believe Eren Yeager is still one of the most misunderstood characters by the audience to this day for two reasons: One is that his conversation with Ramzi in this episode gets completely overlooked. The other is that they are so busy looking for redemption for him that they buy into his coping mechanisms in the next episode.

We only time we see him controlling Titans which hasn't been shown he created is in S2 after the fake wall break but those were also created by him because there wasn't a wall break. This is possible because of his royal blood, but for the Rumbling and controlling all other Titans Eren needed a Royal Titan shifter to get to the Paths (Ymir) and from there start the Rumbling.

    There is no official view of the beast giant's appearance, but several considerations exist.
    In the opening of season 2, the Beast Titan is shown marching with many animals.
    The theory is that the Beast Titan has the DNA of many animals that exist on earth.
    Another theory has to do with an old East Asian calendar.
    Each year in the 12-year cycle of the calendar has an animal motif.
    One of the motifs is a monkey, and the next year is a bird.

      WHEN he gave that speech to the scouts just listen to it ....he was saying we have to die for humanity so that others could take our mantle and march forward ...and for the first time in his life he himself was doing it so HE MEANT IT
      before he was just pretending, to give the salute, he says so himself in s3 ep14
      because giving your heart requires sacrifices but erwin was selfish as he needed to reach the basement and complete his dream

    More than a anime..The audio, the graphics, the speech...🔥21:46 this scene was amazing.''shinzou wo sasageyo'' for hange
    Eren: ''In order to obtain freedom, I will take freedom from the world. But I will not take anything from any of you. You all have freedom. You are free to protect the world’s freedom. And I am free to keep moving forward. As long as we each hold unbending convictions, a clash is inevitable. There is but one thing for us to do. Tatakae !!'' This is Isayama🔥
    It's symbolic how in this chapter the two people that died were the ones with completely opposite ideals. Floch died for the rumbling to continue and Hange died so there would be a chance for the rumbling to end. They're the opposite sides of the same coin who hold onto what they believed He could have chosen to return to his island to treat his wounds, but instead,(maybe he never slept) he decided to pursue the boat and shoot multiple times at the fuel tank, and in his last moment he still doesn't show any hatred towards the alliance but only thinks about the safety of his country. You have done your duty as a true patriot. Fitting that like with Erwin, Hange was the one to close his eyes and lay him to rest.
    RİP King Floch and Commander Hange..❤‍🔥✊😢

    The way I have always viewed Eren: A martyr. Back in season 1 Pixis talked of a story he heard where supposedly if a threat came about that was so great, that humans would forget their differences and come together. I have always believed that is Eren's true purpose in starting the rumbling. The Marleyans and Eldians of Liberio are witnessing their warriors and the devils from Paradis coming together to try and stop Eren which is the ultimate way to show the world that Paradis does NOT want to kill them all. I think that is how he plans to end the animosity between them all, by making Eldians from both Marley and Paradis the heroes.

      Dude, Levi is tired of all this shit and death around him. Remember his repeated phrase to his comrades "stay alive" or "don't you dare die".
      Levi's meaning in life is not revenge or Erwin's last order, but giving meaning to the deaths of fallen comrades who gave their lives for humanity, the concept of which expanded after leaving the walls.
      It doesn't make sense for Levi to be angry at Annie anymore. And the moments when Levi shows sincere emotions can be counted on one hand.

    One thing people forget, the 'peace' idea is mainly by Armin (9 yrs to live) and Hange (who would stay as leader another 2 decade max before have to retire). What to say next leaders would think about continuing Armins idea.
    The small rumbling and peace Armin thinking will take slowly over 50 yrs. 50 yrs of fear of total annihilation rest of humanity have to feel in those times. How many years before humans create nuclear bombs? Or even powerful weapon than that? It took less than a decade to create atom bomb in WWII after all.
    And after nuclear bombs made? Nothing else would matter. The wall titans can do nothing if someone throws hundreds of nuclear bombs from sky at paradis.

    Eren is not free, they make it clear to us with the manga finishing in episode 139 (140 in Japanese means freedom). Ramzi's scene is very powerful because the original Eren (without the memories) would have saved him (just like when saving Armin), but if at that moment he decides not to save him, he would not be free but controlled by the memories of the future. Although in the end it is seen that as much as he doesn't want those memories to materialize, they are becoming reality, then he realizes that he was never free and feels guilty.
    This is my interpretation btw

    Is ‘freedom’ truly a good and beautiful thing? Freedom means an increase in the range of choices. However, this comes with the responsibility of making decisions. A good choice for one person may be a bad choice for someone else. Choosing inherently involves sacrificing everything that is not chosen. In other words, the sweet-sounding concept of ‘freedom’ is inevitably built upon the sacrifices of others. I think this anime does an excellent job of portraying the suffering and conflict that arise from this paradox.

    Eren doesn't control the Titans, he doesn't fight. Zeke and the rest of the Titans are controlled by Ymir, not Eren.

      I think Eren can still control the titans that are still alive through contacting zeke. The past titans are controlled by Ymir.

    The difference : Annie Reiner and Bertholt did it for their people
    Eren did it for his people
    The alliance did it for their moral compass.

      doesn’t Eren literally admit he did it for his own sense of freedom

      @@oreo002s in that moment of grief and guilt, everyone will break down bro. If he persued his own freedom, he could have completed the rumbling. He set the stage for his friends to stop him . He even removed titan powers so that his friends and people can have long lives. Was he doing all that for himself?

    • @oreo002s
      @oreo002s 2 дня назад

      @ Eren originally intended to complete the rumbling, it wasn’t until he gained full access of the founder and his memories were no longer restricted so he realized he’d be stopped is when he started to prioritize his friends and his people, prior to that point it wasn’t about them

    • @Vergil57
      @Vergil57 2 дня назад

      @@oreo002s he wanted to be stopped. I dont think the alliance stands a chance if eren was fighting to kill them.

    • @oreo002s
      @oreo002s 2 дня назад

      @ did you listen to anything i said😭? prior to him having full access of the founder Eren didn’t know he’d be stopped and that he wouldn’t complete his goal, once he gained full access of the founder (where he convinced Ymir and just started the rumbling) realized he’d be stopped he then prioritized his friends wanting them to kill him in front of everyone, i’m not denying that but what i’m saying is that this was never his original goal. There’s only 2 times where Eren allows himself to be vulnerable and honest to someone and that’s in his conversation with Ramzi where he says he does the rumbling because he’s disappointed over a false sense of freedom and at the end with Armin where he admits he wanted to do it, during that conversation with Armin he also admits how he didn’t know whether his friends would survive it yet did everything regardless

      In hindsight, what happened to Floch led him to do what he did. I can even argue Hange’s actions led to Floch dying. It’s all situational and personal choices. Nobody is in the absolute right or wrong. That’s the point of the show.
