Well, every time interesting. When I try to listen to his words (I'm German) I just drift away ;)
Jamie, you're really a kind of a role model. I've never seen someone who can speak so long without repeating every 2nd sentence.
I like this video, because - finally - there's a person who doesn't just fall away into trance :)

It seems to have only taken Jamie about 3-4 minutes to
take this soul into trance. That is very cool!
Thank you for sharing this bit of information.

Masterfully. I read about this but never seen this handthing before.
If you stand next to Miltons grave you will hear a constant humming noise... it's Milton an he's spinning around and around.
    But it works, Jamie.

Thanks for this video! It's helped me a lot but i'm still a bit nervous about trying out the induction. I have never successfully hypnotised anyone but I really want to learn. Thanks

If you give a person enough good reasons for them to listen to you and you understand various principles, yes it is possible. Thaaaaat's right.

the guy was already there but it still works with those who aren't. You just don't need all the language patterns. Just say the hand will touch your face. Three times faster.

For everyone that wants to know what the NLP take is on this, look for the term "reframing". About this induction: It's okay, but I would have started much more with presuppositions, verbal pacing, etc. "As you're looking at your hand, you will notice everything around your focuspoint to get out of focus and you're eyes will work harder and you're eyes will get tired and want to close, but you will not close them until your fingers touch your face." But hey, he does the job I guess.

pretty cool. I live in Japan so I'm guessing the handshake wouldn't work for me. It seems like it would be a lot harder, but do you think it would be possible to do this with a Japanese bow?

I am recently becoming interested in learning all that I can about hypnosis and NLP..I have been getting the most value out of NLPSalads vids and the steve G vids...
I just wanted to comment here...DANG! @ 0:25 Adam was his!!!
So...by the looks of it..., Would this be a slow induction or a rapid induction?

It works the same, you don't have to touch their arm, you can distract them while they bow and say "what's that over there" and as they are breaking from the routine of bowing and begin to look, their mind switches modes and then you can tell them to sleep.
    I think. lol

@ScrubsTheOpera Very true, as I have been hypnotized by a freind who said this to me. He was surprised at how easily it was with me, then he realized what he had thought for years, that I had a high IQ. around 140
But it's important to note here, as he did then that one can only be hynotized if they are open to it, a willing subject, or, unsuspecting.
BTW, I'm a high IQ means nothing in life. The smartest people are the ones that make the most of what God has given them.

It's not magic and it's not difficult to learn. If you're interested in learning more about Hypnotherapy or hypnosis, find a course, ask lots of questions before you pay for it and do it.
