Thank you-the manual didn't have succint turn-on starting instructions in 1 place & reading it made me anxious since i was unwell & desperate to just turn the thing on & get on with my life-manual needs the upgrade, so ridiculous.
**fyi, how i learned my old fire alarm detector was {not} working this week: casually turning around & finding my microwave oven on fire with the popcorn bag also on fire inside it...deja vu, because 23 years ago our entire house & its contents (except Us) burned down from a fire in our clothes dryer with me running out with my infant child & husband.**

thats what i have been looking for. i have an attached room that is far from my bedroom and i wun equipment in there all night while i sleep. that room could be engulfed and i wouldnt know it till its too late as there are wals and doors between me and the equipment. this is the solution...now, if they would just put a 10 min delay or "im cooking steak button" on the dang thing! JUST USED THE EDIT BUTTON. THEY DO HAVE A STEAK BUTTON!!! SOLD.
