I'd rate Robby & Miguel equaly tbh as of part 1 season 6. However the narrative of Miguel being balanced & focused in their season 6 fight is simply wrong. Miguel & Robby both went into that fight with the wrong mindsets. Robby's mind was clouded with his insecurity of always being "2nd place" while Miguel was too focused on fighting a perfect fight so he could get a chance at stanford. Miguel always fights at his best when he does it for himself, not for others. The difference maker in this fight was that Robby managed to fight for the right reasons whereas Miguel hadn't. (as mentioned by the writers in a recent interview) This fact becomes clearer & clearer as the fight progresses. Both start out conflicted but Miguel happened to have a slightly better state of mind (hence why he got the better of Robby). Then when Robby finally finds his source of motivation he manages to dig deep to tie up the score, while this happens Miguel becomes more & more desperate/frustrated. Then when Sam speaks sense into Miguel & instead of taking it the right way & clearing his mind, he shuts it down & keeps his obsession over stanford as his priority to win the fight. at the start of the fight: Robby started out focused but unbalanced, Miguel started out focused but unbalanced. halfway through the fight: Robby is focused & balanced, Miguel is still focused but unbalanced while also getting more frustated with each point he loses. Just because you see him going toe to toe with another skilled fighter doesn't mean he's necessarily locked in, in the way that he should be. Robby won fair & square in the sense that he didn't need to cheat to win, not because both were in flowstate & Robby just happened to get the better of him. If that was the case then Robby would've lost 3 - 0 because at the start they were pretty much an even match mentally & Miguel didn't seem to struggle at that point. Another perfect example is the season 5 fight: Miguel & Robby were at an equal mental state throughout that whole fight & Miguel came out on top. And just to let you know I didn't just pull this argument out of my ass, the writers & actors themselves have pointed this out on interviews.

Dude I pretty much agree with everything except that Tory is the best fighter in part 1 and that Miguel beats Robby. Tory: She was going on par with sam if not outperforming her while mentally nerfed. Some people like to say that she got rage amp which doesn’t make sense. Rage means uncontrollable anger and only some characters like Robby can control it. So a no mental nerf Tory should like mid-high diff Sam who is relative to the boys (Miguel and Robby) Miguel vs Robby: Miguel wins, but Robby deserved the win. Miguel was getting cocky and desperate to win and no he does not get a “Sam amp” as he clearly doesn't listen to anyone and was desperate to get into Stanford making him unbalanced.

Robby is very underrated by the fandom, I'm a big fan of Hawk, Miguel and Robby, however, I find it stupid that people say that these 2 are stronger than Robby in this first part of the season, Hawk sadly, narratively is the third strongest fighter (currently at least), while Robby and Miguel were currently fighting for the 1st position, however this first part of the season Robby proved to be better, and the truth is that Miguel's "mental nerf" is an argument without sense, being that really, Robby was the one who was mentally worse, and only at the end did he recover and managed to beat Miguel. Miguel and Robby are the typical rivalry of every series, sometimes one wins and sometimes one loses, and the truth is that it was time for Robby to win fairly (literally Robby had NEVER beaten Miguel fairly, while Miguel had the opportunity to beat him in season 5 fairly), it would be boring if Miguel always won, and it would take away importance from other fighters (that's why it was great that Hawk won against Robby in season 4, because they finally gave him greater importance in the plot, as one of the "strongest"). Hawk is above Sam and Tory and even Robby confirmed in part 2, he was only lackluster in part 1 Battle royale because he was distracted having felt guilty that he hadn’t confessed to Demetri that he wasn’t going to MIT
I dunno about Sam and Tory. Tory was clearly more unhinged and angry meaning she was realistically going to hit harder. Sam was only using moderate power because she was in a point fight. We see them spar in Episode 3, they are pretty even.
Miguel being nerfed isn't really stupid its a fact he was to focused on winning both was unbalanced and robby just has that motivation when Tory came in but even Miguel said it was a fair fight so robby when he's focused proves he could be deadly but i would say if they both were to fight equally focused Miguel would win but could go either way since it's been shown they are pretty much equal when focued the fight would be high to extreme diff at best
I know hawk did not show much feats in p1 but i would not rank him lower then tory and sam i think hawks 3rd i think hawk under robby and miguel in part 1 but that can change in part 2 and 3 hawk is very skilled

The only difference is Demetri over Shawn. It’s not clear if Shawn had improved since season 3 and we know he lost to Robby when he was at his season 2 level of skill. However, Demetri has shown to improve a lot the last few seasons, so I reckon it’s more closer than you think.

Hawk is S tier, above Sam and Tory but below Robby and Miguel in my opinion. Sam and Tory didn’t really do anything to show that they are better than Hawk. Hawk while holding back was still undoubtedly better than Demetri, he blacked Miguel and Robby’s attacks at the same time, and the only reason he lost the flag to Devon was because he was not focused due to the MIT thing where he had not talked to Demetri about it by that point. Nonetheless, good list.
Hawk can't hang with Miguel or Robby they are a Tier above him, Both had him beat in season 4 and it wasn't "extremely" close but cause of plot he ended up winning. Kenny is right after Hawk cause he hurt hawk bad and hurt Keene in season 5
Good tier list👍. I will say though why does the plot hate hawk😂. They ripped all of his plot armor off after s4 and it doesnt make any sense why he loses some of the fights he does.
Hawk is in S since he is able to land a hit on Miguel and block Robby at the same time, and Robby at Peak because Tory was their and in an interview the Creators taking about Miguel vs Robby said that Miguel lost because he started to be unbalanced and became more aggressive in using offense also when he was on defense he 2-0 Robby unbalanced and Robby focused 3-0 Miguel so it safe to assume Miguel balanced > Robby balanced.
You forgot something important. Schlossberg says “they both putting too much pressure on themselves” but he says at first Miguel is better off than Robby because he still has Sam and people to support him while Robby doesn’t have Tory. Meaning that Miguel still has motivation and mojo to win while Robby doesn’t. He says when Tory arrives Robby gets his “motivation and mojo back” but this obviously doesn’t mean he isn’t putting too much pressure on himself. That’s why he blows the biggest sigh of relief after the fight. Miguel losses 3-0 because they said he was getting more unbalanced everytime Robby scorred a point. Although he does say beforehand that sometimes they like the plot of fights where the character “is losing at first and comes back”

Theres more to fighting than just skills and feats, u need to account emotions and how they think and feel. Tory and Sam are equally matched when both are balanced, there both aggressive but sam have upper hand in defence but tory offence make up for that lack in the category, but for there match in s6, its unclear since sam was doing a good job holding her ground while tory was definitely going for the kill, she was very emotional and she had alot of rage, its still unclear who won. Miguel is a better fighter then robby when both at balanced, when they were fighting, both were unbalanced, robby was too focused on not losing and becoming 2nd place again and worrying about tory whereas miguel was too focused for his future and college that itll be the end if he loses, that he couldnt see wat was infront of him. "Those who cant see there opponents right infront of him cant defeat the opponent that lies beyond". When robby saw tory, he became comfortable and more balance than ever. Robby definitely won that fight, and he deserved it.

Kreese says you need to keep focus in fights. He says this is why Johnny lost. Because he lost focus and thought he’d get back Ali if he won. That’s why Kreese said he lost because his opponent had more heart. You need control under the style.
Miguel beat Robby in the all valley, school fight, and apartment fight. His only true loss is the captain fight. You win some you lose some but it’s very clear Miguel is the better fighter

Hawk has always been a tier lower than the main fighters (except for Tory) in the past seasons (except for S4 and S5).
Amp this nerf that. Its all things for fans to cope. It's clear that Robby and Miguel both wanted to win. Robby went on a 3-0 streak when he locked in. Miguel was locked in the whole fight he wanted it for college.

Hawk is S tier, above Sam and Tory but below Robby and Miguel in my opinion. Sam and Tory didn’t really do anything to show that they are better than Hawk. Hawk while holding back was still undoubtedly better than Demetri, he blacked Miguel and Robby’s attacks at the same time, and the only reason he lost the flag to Devon was because he was not focused due to the MIT thing where he had not talked to Demetri about it by that point. Nonetheless, good list.

Hawk is in S since he is able to land a hit on Miguel and block Robby at the same time, and Robby at Peak because Tory was their and in an interview the Creators taking about Miguel vs Robby said that Miguel lost because he started to be unbalanced and became more aggressive in using offense also when he was on defense he 2-0 Robby unbalanced and Robby focused 3-0 Miguel so it safe to assume Miguel balanced > Robby balanced.

Schlossberg says “they both putting too much pressure on themselves” but he says at first Miguel is better off than Robby because he still has Sam and people to support him while Robby doesn’t have Tory. Meaning that Miguel still has motivation and mojo to win while Robby doesn’t.
He says when Tory arrives Robby gets his “motivation and mojo back” but this obviously doesn’t mean he isn’t putting too much pressure on himself. That’s why he blows the biggest sigh of relief after the fight.
Miguel losses 3-0 because they said he was getting more unbalanced everytime Robby scorred a point. Although he does say beforehand that sometimes they like the plot of fights where the character “is losing at first and comes back”

Theres more to fighting than just skills and feats, u need to account emotions and how they think and feel. Tory and Sam are equally matched when both are balanced, there both aggressive but sam have upper hand in defence but tory offence make up for that lack in the category, but for there match in s6, its unclear since sam was doing a good job holding her ground while tory was definitely going for the kill, she was very emotional and she had alot of rage, its still unclear who won. Miguel is a better fighter then robby when both at balanced, when they were fighting, both were unbalanced, robby was too focused on not losing and becoming 2nd place again and worrying about tory whereas miguel was too focused for his future and college that itll be the end if he loses, that he couldnt see wat was infront of him. "Those who cant see there opponents right infront of him cant defeat the opponent that lies beyond". When robby saw tory, he became comfortable and more balance than ever. Robby definitely won that fight, and he deserved it.
