Great video-definitely my favorite spelling of “lenght” I’m looking forward to Korg supplying their US retailers- been waiting for mine since December 2019.
I see the appeal now, and I'm not getting sarcastic or anything. This is like teenage engineering pocket operator meets also an akai MPC, and it had a baby
Ordered one mainly for the effects boost that my Microfreak lacks ( not complaining-the Firmware 5.0 is pretty dope! 😀). Was enjoying your review until that…thing…with all the squares 😵💫😵💫 But no, yeah, good review! 😄👍🏼
I got an amazon voucher from work and went to buy something else there, got sidetracked by this and started looking at videos including this one and well..... Ended up with it winging it's way to me. Amazing sounding synth but I kind of got it for the fx, the synth part is a huge bonus and I am now intrigued by the oscillator designing capabilities. For a small box it looks like an amazing bit of kit.
Doc Bolus haha, good decision. I also primarily got it for the FX but the synth sounds are awesome considering it’s only a single oscillator. And same here, custom oscillators (and custom fx!) look promising.
Thanks! Hmm, I'm not sure I follow with the extended version. The drums are being sequenced from brought 6:40 onwards. Or do you mean how I came up with the samples and all?
Whales Have Teeth thanks for your msg, I’ve noticed that the vide was edited on the drums part, I believe at the drum fills, I’ll take a look again (sorry newbie here) yes samples are originals? Or your own? Super beat thanks
Ryan Miller thanks homie! The cable is Roland’s UM-One mk2. It’s pretty cool since it also has an usb end so you can sequence the NTS-1 from your DAW too.
Do you mean the custom oscillators? I've only used the free ones available here: korginc.github.io/logue-sdk/unit-index/ Supersaw is probably the one I've used most.
@@whaleshaveteeth OMG! I’ve got but these synths, but didn’t realise the NTS had the custom osc and fx SDK stuff. That’s amazing, can’t wait to try some out. Thanks.
Nice presentation 👍. Agreed it does sound good but my NTS-1 doesn’t work properly. No midi on DIN or USB and audio through can only be heard when switched to Ensemble so it’s pretty useless for me.
Came here to find out more about the NTS-1 only to discover what the Deluge was. Thanks. My wallet needed that, hahah
Haha 👍
At 7:21 you can hear the cashier sound of that... From the deluge🤣
My god this is soothing to watch.
Haha, cheers mate!
Snapping the panels apart was a bit scary but it's an easy build. It is an amazing little box.
Just got mine in the mail and you're right.. It is a bang for the buck!👍👍 I fundamentally got it for that "submarine" Reverb!🎹🎧💫😵😎👌
It's super powerful! Really like it.
This is a mighty little instrument.
I have the irher 2 in the Monotron series and am definetly gonna make this s purxhase as well. Thanks...
I was distracted by the Deluge sequencing, man that kit looks fun as hell. Dope vid overall!!!
Haha, it’s a great combo indeed!
Great video-definitely my favorite spelling of “lenght” I’m looking forward to Korg supplying their US retailers- been waiting for mine since December 2019.
Luca Gunther hahah, thanks. Length and rhythm are my achilles’ heels.
I have had to replace my auto-dictionary from length to lenght. Undeniably, it's the *BEST* way to spell it after all!

I don't know where the music in the early parts of this is from but it's fantastic.
JG MUSICMAN the first 15 seconds of the video is a sample and the track that’s playing when I assemble the device is made by me using only the NTS-1.
@@whaleshaveteeth well done man. Seriously.
JG MUSICMAN cheers mate!

Very nice man ! cool as an ice cream😀🐂💨💨💨
They should create a version of the NTS-1 with a better screen.
Great beat! I would love to see the extended version, so I can understand how you achieve this specially the drums. Thanks!
Thanks!

@@saluddiaz No worries bro! Samples are my own and mostly downloaded off Splice. And thanks again!
Wow!
Lou my reaction! 😮
Oh shit this just made me want Korg digital oscillators directly on the Deluge.
esquilax hahaha I know.
I just got mine today but it's missing the two sliver side panels so all need to make a set of they don't get replaced
muy bueno!!! muchas gracias
gracias!
I am purchasing my NTS used and assembled. Btw... I wonder if IKEA would consider making electronic instruments.
They should.
I now suddenly want a deluge, thanks...
Haha
Guessing the mystery sample is of a bicycle bell.
Came here wanting the NTS, left also wanting the Deluge
Cool video....thx 🎼
I liked it so much I bought two.
Haha, the more the merrier.
Is the mystery sample a zippo being flipped open? I know I'm years late but thats what it sounds like
awesome!
VolcaNiced cheers!
What a "great" Video! Mine comes today.... What a great way to tease me .... !!!!!!
Cheers mate, and enjoy yours!
Nice
Thanks
Anyone ever recorded a MIDI clip via MIDI-in socket to transfer it later on PC? I ask, if it is possible to do that.
Mystery sample: bicycle bell
reaaallly nice Video!
cheers!
Lovely video!
Jimi Van de B thanks a lot 🤜🤛
@9:40 Have you tried a passive DI box to solve the noise floor?
No, but sounds like I should.
keith urban seems to use the deluge with good results
Bicycle bell?
Sticking the ribbon keyboard down was one of the most unpleasant experiences of my life... other than that it was a super easy build
questionable taste in literature, outstanding taste in synths.
Dat beat was 🔥
thank you

Oscar Vargas 🤜🤛
Clearly the sound is Link taking out the master sword. lol.
Can this be done with novation circuit tracks as well?
Awesome video as usual! Do you have a link to that midi cable?
Ryan Miller thanks homie! The cable is Roland’s UM-One mk2. It’s pretty cool since it also has an usb end so you can sequence the NTS-1 from your DAW too.
Whales Have Teeth thank you. I’ll have to check it out!
I’ll be picking up that little Korg box as soon as I find one in stock, it sounds incredible.
@@millertime660 that's a good decision in my opinion, the value-to-punch ratio is amazing.
Have any good suggestions for nts-1 plug ins?

Your a good man for making the video. Korg and those damn ribbon keypads.....blah.
Thanks for the video 👍
Cheers mate!
can I connect a distortion pedal to it?
I don't see a reason why you couldn't.
Aphex Twin cover at 5:42?
I’m guessing two mini cymbals used in belly dancing 🤷🏻♂️. Nice video, btw. Really enjoyed the vibe

Thanks and dang, sad to hear. Have you contacted Korg?
Yes, really disappointing. I have contacted the supplier. Hopefully they will exchange for a new one.
@@ProfessorSynth let's hope so. Fingers crossed.
Had mine a week and I'm on my third midi lead, none of them work, "What the fuck ".
Did you figure this out?
mystery sample is a really screwed up naruto sample, the jutsu noise?
Can't believe you actually bothered trying to "play" the ribbon keyboard
What powers this machine?
A laptop in this video. But it can be powered by a power bank, or plugging it into a wall etc.
Usb micro, so a wall wart is just fine (power bank is good too)
Everyone wants to be Knobs.
HOw much a ton aren’t they
I'm not sure I follow
I believe they’re asking “how inexpensive is it”. $100usd
what camera do u use?
Sony A7mkIII + FE 24-240mm
great editing, they should hire you for informercials ;) GUCCI!
SON WU haha thanks! Bbrrrrrrrrr.
"After plugging into my girlfriend all problems went away." Ain't that the truth until they tell you to take out the garbage and clean the toilet.
🤣👍🤔
Ball until you fall. LOL
Preach.
Présentation très drôle et superbe réalisation
Merci!
