Jesus essentially has nothing to do with religion. But some egos like to deify people with that kind of insight because they attribute it to the person and the ego and therefore separate from themself.

Yes I think its really cool. I was raised a Catholic, turned my back on it disillusioned as a teen , found the work of Eckhart Tolle and others and now am drawn back full circle to these beautiful takes on the teachings of Jesus .
The truth is absolute, it does not matter under which title it is published, those that are pointing towards it are just messengers, it can be found everywhere if one looks, and knows what to look for.

I was fond of Eastern traditions and Occult philosophical theology. I find myself less attached to particulars but more interested in them these days. I was resistant to Christian traditions because of sectarian conflict in my home country, now the resistance is gone I can freely appreciate the beauty of these stories and I'm enjoying it thoroughly :) ❤️

Hi Matt, through self-enquiry I realized that there is an underlying structure to everything we could call emptiness or love or stillness from which everything arises and in which everything collapses. Our true nature. There's moments/states when an absolute okayness with everything is experienced. Love and beauty are naturally present. For the person/ego these moments feel like "true" liberation. But then again these states seem to come and go. It's like I can sometimes tune in my true nature and sometimes not. Sometimes it is clearly seen I am the fabrics of existence and sometimes not. There's some identity as a person that keeps me captured, but I don't know how to die completely as a person, which is my strong desire. I dont know what to do now and I am okay with this, but something drives me to ask this question: do you have any directions, finger pointings, guidings, for this seeming problem?

So what you’re describing is the stage of glimpsing your true nature, and then experiencing the momentum of an identity which you have seen to be false, yet continues to act, behave and suffer in a way as if it were real? This is the path from now. Do not stop until the whole dream collapses and the ego no longer rises. This is Christ and it is inevitable for all. Your only option is to delay or press on

For me the final step was to recognize deep that I'm not my thoughts and that I'm pure consciousness . In that recognition my ego died. And this was the worst thing I have ever experienced because it felt like a real death. I was sure that I’m dying and at the same time confused why. I laid on the floor and my body shaked, I was unable to move. After one or two hours I felt better and could stand up an walked a bit and then consciousness expanded unbelievable. It was like time stand still. I thought that I was reborn or was born now fully. Since that it’s permanent. Think 90% of all thoughts are gone, the head is unbelievable still. Desires are gone, all bad feelings are gone. And I’m unbelievable awake, even when the body is tired 😂 Think from this came the word "awakening". It’s like Matt explained. I can’t feel bad when I’m attacked personally. Love is coming through more and more. It’s a completely new life. The hard process was completely worth it.

Hi man I know this is a bit of a far out question but what's your take on the idea of semen retention speeding up the awakening process? I recently found another channel that deals with non-dual awakening, self-inquiry, etc. and the teacher is really big on lifestyle changes (diet mostly) and semen retention as making things easier to awaken. He claims it preserves energy and this causes one to have more energy in their day to day life and even needing less sleep during the night. Thank you.
If it feels right to follow this, then do. I’ve found it to be a control mechanism rooted in guilt / fear. Ultimately, the true source of energy is untouched by anything you “do” in this world. Usually, attempting to strictly control diet, semen or anything can be a sign of ego. For me letting go and moderation is best

With awareness and no self there would be peace but recurrent triggers are still coming up and I’ve been trying to investigate but I’m not sure exactly what questions to ask myself. Most of the time my mind is just going crazy and shoots irrelevant things I dont know if Ill ever get to the point. To the deep down frozen storage that I want to get to. I’ve been searching for a video where Scott really tells us the questions to ask apart from what can I be repressing right now etc. I’m just lost really I’m tired of the loops the ups and downs it’s always the same and I know I’m missing the unconscious beliefs that drive these triggers… What can I do

That's pretty much exactly what my friend was told years ago when Jesus instructed him not to lock his car anymore. When he asked something about things being taken, Jesus said, "Wouldn't you want to give it to your brother if he thinks he really needs it?" Love gives all to all. I hear many ACIM students say, "Oh - he doesn't mean the material/form as well? He just means your loving attitude etc...". He does mean your attitude towards your brother but as part of it the ACTION of MIND of God which is your RIGHT Mind, God gives all to all and giving of ALL extends to giving in form as well... the supply house is infinite and at our hand as required....as above... so below... and as we give, like the Grateful Dead sing... "If your cup be full, may it be again".
I know and feel somehow that love is the only way, but I strugle to feel love and compassion in my heart, I feel kinda numb. Love cannot be forced. But you speak from the depths of my heart and it gives me hope that love will follow. Thank you! 💚

Love can't be forced because love is "non forceful" and force is entirely the antithesis and anathema of Love; force against yourself and/or others is the very >extreme< - last - resort. Energy/space/time IS force in action and you are not energy/space/time; bodies are, but "You" are not. The "energy" keeping "you"and "us" alive is Pure Consciousness (some call It "God", but there's >lots< of confusion around that particular word and what it means) - and "we" are not separate from "God" in any way; we are THAT and THAT >is< us. And, THAT is the nature of Pure Consciousness. Nothing can be - either locally individual or Universally Holistic - if there's nothing/no one observing it (i.e., Pure Consciousness via "I Am" (which is Awareness). Do a search on "I Am" (if you've not come across that?). Any differences between "us" is only in the apparently separate individual appearances created by and through which Pure Consciousness is expressing Itself via "I Am" in the immediate moment (anything else - past or future exists only in the past, future and imagination of mind). Self Realization is genuine and Advaita is the genuine "direct" way. I like the subject. I like the operative approach to theoretical frames. I like the British accent. What happened to Christ back in the day can and in fact will most certainly happen again today, and I don't need any other reason to act on the world on a "preventive" and if necessary, confrontational basis. ps 2. I sometimes perform an exercise which is to watch and meditate on the painting "Soldier mocking Christ" by Carl Bloch. Matt, look at the eyes of that evil man, look closely, and tell me that you really would let him get away with it. Tell me that you would be a silent condescending witness of that brutal abuse. Those people should have been shred to pieces and fed to some animals which would never serve as food for people. This is my position. Is it masculine? Yes. Is it harmful? Yes. Is it better than what it targets? Surely Yes, Matt. It is. It is threfore an... evolution.
Hey Mario, you'll be surprised at the depth of your capacity to forgive. I don't mind teaching this regardless of if it is disagreed with or not seen. It's far more freeing and fruitful to trust this, in my experience. There is no evil in this world, except that which you choose to put outside yourself. @@mat.se57 yes Mat exactly but I am not a bird ,I am an emotional being .I am now 71 ,it all started when I was 2and half witnessed my parents arguing ,when I was 6 the death of my first cousin Pierre ,then my father abandoning us when I was 6 etc…..my mother suicide etc… then last year chronic depression following treasons by relatives then this year my eldest son abandoning his family .I am glad it will end but it has been a tough road !

However, I’ve noticed worldly rules and strict ways to live is not aligned with Love. Even Buddha ate meat, as long as it was prepared in a loving way. Follow what is true to you, which could be to follow vegetarianism.

Love can't be forced because love is "non forceful" and force is entirely the antithesis and anathema of Love; force against yourself and/or others is the very >extreme< - last - resort. Energy/space/time IS force in action and you are not energy/space/time; bodies are, but "You" are not.
The "energy" keeping "you"and "us" alive is Pure Consciousness (some call It "God", but there's >lots< of confusion around that particular word and what it means) - and "we" are not separate from "God" in any way; we are THAT and THAT >is< us. And, THAT is the nature of Pure Consciousness. Nothing can be - either locally individual or Universally Holistic - if there's nothing/no one observing it (i.e., Pure Consciousness via "I Am" (which is Awareness). Do a search on "I Am" (if you've not come across that?).
Any differences between "us" is only in the apparently separate individual appearances created by and through which Pure Consciousness is expressing Itself via "I Am" in the immediate moment (anything else - past or future exists only in the past, future and imagination of mind).
And, Pure Consciousness isn't forcing anything (only intending and observing).
The human problem is the violent reactionary tendencies exhibited by predatory human beings forcing themselves and their intentions on others.
Self Realization is genuine and Advaita is the genuine "direct" way. It can also be the most difficult at times, because it's an endeavor of deliberately changing our own personal perspective of life, of being and of Existence existing from "individual human 'I', 'me', 'mine'" to the "Universal Self" living within all things, which is (much) greater than human. And, Pure Consciousness deals directly with the very question you're asking.

I like the subject. I like the operative approach to theoretical frames. I like the British accent.
Despite this, I am certainly miles away from condescending with any kind of abuse, in fact, I take pleasure in "attacking it" even before it takes place. Its a form of art. I could tell about situations in which I waited about one year to put something that shouldn't have been to its dutyful end. Again, its an art and its not for amateurs.
But I am also certain that what Matt talks here is also not for amateurs, and in that domain and for the mentioned reasons, I certainly am an amateur.
ps. What happened to Christ back in the day can and in fact will most certainly happen again today, and I don't need any other reason to act on the world on a "preventive" and if necessary, confrontational basis.
ps 2. I sometimes perform an exercise which is to watch and meditate on the painting "Soldier mocking Christ" by Carl Bloch. Matt, look at the eyes of that evil man, look closely, and tell me that you really would let him get away with it. Tell me that you would be a silent condescending witness of that brutal abuse. Those people should have been shred to pieces and fed to some animals which would never serve as food for people. This is my position. Is it masculine? Yes. Is it harmful? Yes. Is it better than what it targets? Surely Yes, Matt. It is. It is threfore an... evolution.
Hey Mario, you'll be surprised at the depth of your capacity to forgive. I don't mind teaching this regardless of if it is disagreed with or not seen. It's far more freeing and fruitful to trust this, in my experience. There is no evil in this world, except that which you choose to put outside yourself. When this responsibility is owned, the teaching "Resist Not Evil" truly unfolds as a clear moment to moment experience. Much love to you brother, and thank you for your deep contemplations on this

@@mat.se57 yes Mat exactly but I am not a bird ,I am an emotional being .I am now 71 ,it all started when I was 2and half witnessed my parents arguing ,when I was 6 the death of my first cousin Pierre ,then my father abandoning us when I was 6 etc…..my mother suicide etc… then last year chronic depression following treasons by relatives then this year my eldest son abandoning his family .I am glad it will end but it has been a tough road !
Anyway thank you Matt for replying it makes feel less abandoned ,I really enjoy experiencing your peaceful presence not many of your age group talk about non duality .

They are there exactly to wake you up and to give you that opportunity to let go into Love. In fact, we chose each situations, and we forgot the power of our one mind to do this. It sees through all victimhood, as Love cannot be the victim to anything! Love

@@gabrieltopan9315 my friend, love isn’t to do with simply what we eat. It’s a good point, and often we naturally eat more compassionately after awakening. However, I’ve noticed worldly rules and strict ways to live is not aligned with Love. Even Buddha ate meat, as long as it was prepared in a loving way. Follow what is true to you, which could be to follow vegetarianism.
