Otherwise known as Kathleen Eloise Rockwell, best known as "Klondike Kate", and later known as Kate Rockwell Warner Matson Van Duren, gained her fame as a dancer and vaudeville star during the Klondike Gold Rush, where she met Alexander Pantages who later became a very successful vaudeville/motion picture mogul.

Am glad I came to this AFTER I knew about the REAL Klondike Kate Ryan. HER life of service, grit, and integrity is much more compelling than Kitty Rockwell’s opportunistic deceit ~ AND IDENTITY THEFT!
It is disappointing to hear that you are referring to Kitty Rockwell as Klondike Kate. The real Klondike Kate was Kate Ryan. Kitty did not just steal the name “Klondike Kate” she also tried to steal Kate Ryan. Kitty did not just steal the name “Klondike Kate” she also tried to steal Kate Ryan’s life story in order to get Hollywood to make a film about her life. Just watched on RUclips the Groucho Marx show You Bet Your Life with guest Klondike Kate, who claimed she was 74 years old. I wonder who she really was. 🤔
I don't understand your math. He said she made $30,000 /yr. Then you multiplied that by 40, then said she made $1.2 million/yr.
Later you said she was there for 4 years. You two guys seem stoned.
Multiplying it by 40 was to show what it would've been worth when this was filmed. So she made 30k A year for 4 years. When this was filmed 30k in 1898 would've been equivalent to 1.2 million year. Not that hard to understand. So she made close to 5 million in four years
