In 2021, catastrophic tropical cyclone Odette caused destruction on the islands and Kawasan Falls was of course one of the areas destroyed in Cebu. Some of the jumps and slides that you see on this video doesn't exist anymore. Somehow, Odette geographically altered the area. However, watching videos from recent travel vloggers shows that the Kawasan Falls is now open, and the amazing adventure of canyoneering is back. God Bless the Philippines. 😎👍
+Abs00Hero yeah it was amazing. We have a cabyoneering trip planned in Vietnam in a couple of weeks, it's supposed to be even more amazing than Kawasan. We are so excited. Thanks for watching our videos :-)
Hi Jules, There is around a 20 minute walk down hill to the start of the canyoning but other than that the hardest part is the jumps, which is all about mental strength. If you are confident in yourself you will be fine so go for it, you will not regret it :-)
yeah aside from the long walk till the first jump point, everything else is just up to you, you can even skip "some" jump points if you don't want to. It's a 2~4 hrs trek, they'll wait for you :). To me after the first jump, the whole canyoning stuff, I didn't feel exhausted till we reached the level 2 water fall and I'm a fuckin ass coach f'n potato bag.
I love the vibe in this video. Kawasan Falls before typhoon Odette ravaged it was indeed beautiful.
Definitely doing all that! In my bucket list!!

The best experience there was the jumping and the massage by the water falls! miss that place!
