I thought this was just a wonderful video to watch. Whenever he would look at the camera and smile I smiled with him because I knew that must've felt amazing and this just made me happy
there was a constant thing that irked me with this, you played the third fret on the A string instead of on E before the slide from 19 to 21 on the D string
And a C instead of a G bass note on the 3rd Chord (Gm) of the first phrase. But hey, pretty dang good for a beginner indeed. Wonder how it sounds a year later now...
that (omfg did you just see that) face you made on the twelfth day (3:46) put the biggest smile on my face, honestly when i was learning this song i thought i would never get it down properly and it took me ages to bring it up to 100% speed but i can assure you the feeling of accomplishment i had when i got it down is one of (if not) the best feelings ive had in a ages, congrats on your progress man this is by no means an easy feat and to get it down in only 12 days is super impressive!
Great job, it's just you keep playing a C as the second chord, but it actually is a G. I went through all days wondering, when will you figure out. Don't mean to put it down though, you're doing good, keep it up!
Love your videos! I can play some CHON but I’ve never considered myself good enough for Polyphia! Your videos have inspired me and I’m going to start with this song! Thank you!
A tip tho, if you search it, you can find a video of supposedly Tim teaching it and he tells you where he hybrid picks, learning that makes the riff sound almost identical
nice man, id just like to recommend u work on economy of motion, as in making movements smaller, especially at 4:04 it looks like ur making a lot more movements than necessary
great job for sure! when i saw day one i said "no way he plays this," but you damn near nailed it by the end. you play some of the notes pretty different from the way i do tho id love to see a tab for this version
I think the opening part after the 5a 7d 0b is missing some stuff. Pretty sure you're supposed to do 3e, 2g pull 0g, then the tap slide into the 12/12/12 harmonics. I'm not seeing/hearing it even on day 10. Nice progression though.
I was trying to learn this song, had to take a break and learn hybrid picking for it to sound similar to the recording. If the pick touches a dead string, the riff loses its magic.
bro i learned the same songs as well. started with goat, then goose, now the worst. that last little riff on the 2nd time around is so hard lol. i know all the notes but i cannot put it all together lol
What is your process for learning these songs? Polyphia is my favorite band and I can play bits and pieces of their stuff but definitely not at Tim’s speed. Do you learn from RUclips tutorials or do you buy their tabs? Just curious where you start from. Love your videos. Keep up the good work!
Hey, Handsome boy....I am a very new Beginner Guitarist.... But I stopped.... But now I am start learning with my Teacher RUclips channel.......🤞✌️...\W/...🤟...From Northeast India.
tim henson has a tutorial on this one on youtube, the rest of them are quite hard to find tutorials for and some do have tabs but other than that it’s just a matter of being able to persevere!
Where did you learn the chorus part from ? I cant find tab for it in videos that show tab, most just show the verse, which I guess is most of the song anyway. Hopefully someone knows. Thanks
Hiya mate, love this cover and this series :) im actually trying to learn this one too, I was just wondering, my harmonic on the 12 feet doesn’t ring out too well, it doesn’t sound like the same pitch as yours. Do I need to adjust my strings?
Thanks mate glad you like it and are learning it too! Honestly not too sure but what I would do is try out another guitar (guitar store, friends house etc) to see if it's a problem with my playing or if it's a problem with my guitar. If it's a guitar issue it could be that the action is too low or intonation on 12th fret is a bit off and the guitar needs a reset.
Thanks man \m/ I’d say buy the tabs from the website, it’s only a few dollars and you’re supporting the band. Otherwise theres guides on RUclips. I learned with a mix of both haha
ahhhh for god sake, the base notes go from E to D, to G (not C, damnit). Like.. good job for the technics but how can you play this riff 100 times without noticing that...
It's a phenomenal feeling when you get a technical song right. It's easy to see his satisfaction from music. May not be for everyone but, I love it.
i love that people have the drive and determination to learn hard songs like the ones from polyphia
I subbed for content like this
Thank you potato man 🤟🏽❤️
I thought this was just a wonderful video to watch. Whenever he would look at the camera and smile I smiled with him because I knew that must've felt amazing and this just made me happy
Thanks so much, comments like these make my day :)
How do you only have 1.7K subs??? You deserve so much more, keep up the good work man.
Thanks so much my friend, it means a lot :)
Im proud of you man !!!!!!!!
there was a constant thing that irked me with this, you played the third fret on the A string instead of on E before the slide from 19 to 21 on the D string
This!!!
It didn’t sound bad, but it’s not the G.
Agreed
And a C instead of a G bass note on the 3rd Chord (Gm) of the first phrase. But hey, pretty dang good for a beginner indeed. Wonder how it sounds a year later now...
I'm now learning The Worst Riff, your progress motivates me! Thanks for sharing your progress video!
A really well made video. The view at the end was icing on the cake. subbed.
Thank you man, appreciate it :)
Great work Sam. I need to learn this tune. Quality!!
This is actually incredible...
I'm starting learning this today because of this video thanks
that (omfg did you just see that) face you made on the twelfth day (3:46) put the biggest smile on my face, honestly when i was learning this song i thought i would never get it down properly and it took me ages to bring it up to 100% speed but i can assure you the feeling of accomplishment i had when i got it down is one of (if not) the best feelings ive had in a ages, congrats on your progress man this is by no means an easy feat and to get it down in only 12 days is super impressive!
amazing progression, but i am quite stunned that you completely left out the hybrid picking! keep it up man, you rock!
Subbed! Watching someone learning Polyphia songs is really entertaining and motivating. Keep doing more !
Good job, loved watching the progression and excitement. Beautiful song.
Great job, it's just you keep playing a C as the second chord, but it actually is a G. I went through all days wondering, when will you figure out. Don't mean to put it down though, you're doing good, keep it up!
At 3:42 it looks like a ghost moved that stack of stuff on your bed....
lol i like that the smiling increases exponentially with every session
these kinds of videos are super nice for anyone about to learn the riff
Love your earnestness and passion. Very talented.

your tone is soooo warm and comfyyyy
This motivates the shit outta me. These videos are dope
What I like in this content is that its 100% real.
Inspiring stuff, I've been learning G.O.A.T but starting to learn The Worst, it's one of my favs!
I'm using the same technique to learn songs by ear. Patience and perseverence is key ! Good job man !
You are amazing I almost felt like me doing this. keep it up bro
That's so awesome! I'm currently trying to learn the whole thing and I'm struggling. That's brilliant man great job.
Great job bro
Hell yeah dude! This is my fav polyphia song
Love your videos! I can play some CHON but I’ve never considered myself good enough for Polyphia! Your videos have inspired me and I’m going to start with this song! Thank you!
1:42. Day 7: "Here's me after 2 months..." What? LOL. so is it day 7 or like 70 days in?
Amazing!

So sick man! Keep it up
You're a beast!!
Definition of anything is possible

SO GOOD WHAT THE HELL
Impressive especially without hybrid picking.
I love when he looked at the cam and smiled
No homo
A tip tho, if you search it, you can find a video of supposedly Tim teaching it and he tells you where he hybrid picks, learning that makes the riff sound almost identical
I really get inspired from u.
nice man, id just like to recommend u work on economy of motion, as in making movements smaller, especially at 4:04 it looks like ur making a lot more movements than necessary

great Job man !
Its all a work in progress!!! Mind if i asked where you were able to find the tab?
I think the opening part after the 5a 7d 0b is missing some stuff. Pretty sure you're supposed to do 3e, 2g pull 0g, then the tap slide into the 12/12/12 harmonics. I'm not seeing/hearing it even on day 10. Nice progression though.

i subbed for those victory faces
bro i learned the same songs as well. started with goat, then goose, now the worst. that last little riff on the 2nd time around is so hard lol. i know all the notes but i cannot put it all together lol
Hahah that's awesome! Man, I know the feels, I struggled with that last bit for ages
@@samwarrier311 finally got it down over the weekend! i dont think its 100% exact, but close enough lol. moving on to blood moon next!
I stand by the fact that on some guitars tapping is ways easier to sound good
Interesting watching your progress bro, its a similar process with me learning on piano. Can you do Euphoria next? thats by far got the best hook imo
SUPER COOL!!!! Now Blood Moon by Tim Henson?
Not to sound prude, but it took me a solid hour and half to learn this riff. I really commend the people who would practice the same riff for 12 days.
I subbed because I too learned goat, then goose and was like yas I wanna learn more
Great work dude!!
How much time you spend each day for learning the song?
good game man
4:19 Love it hahaha
What is your process for learning these songs? Polyphia is my favorite band and I can play bits and pieces of their stuff but definitely not at Tim’s speed. Do you learn from RUclips tutorials or do you buy their tabs? Just curious where you start from. Love your videos. Keep up the good work!
You rock man :]
Hey, Handsome boy....I am a very new Beginner Guitarist....
But I stopped.... But now I am start learning with my Teacher RUclips channel.......🤞✌️...\W/...🤟...From Northeast India.
This song looks sounds harder than G.O.A.T but is actually easier
They say that learning Polyphia songs isn’t that hard. But making them sound like they are suppose to, is.
i cant find the basic chords for this song can you tell me where did you get it or how you learned thankyou and your playing style is great
GGWP😄🙌👏
Could you do a guitar lesson for this lick?
In the exact same boat eith goat
learn the tim henson shred collab riff
DUDE. fuck yeah. fuuuuuckkkkkkkkkk yeah
its nice seeing an actual human play it
Ahhhh wireless set up now I get it haha
How long has he been playing guitar?
Dude this is sick lol
Hello, new polyphia fan here and would like to learn their songs but how?
tim henson has a tutorial on this one on youtube, the rest of them are quite hard to find tutorials for and some do have tabs but other than that it’s just a matter of being able to persevere!
Where did you get the notes/tabs
Where did you learn the chorus part from ? I cant find tab for it in videos that show tab, most just show the verse, which I guess is most of the song anyway. Hopefully someone knows. Thanks

If it's a guitar issue it could be that the action is too low or intonation on 12th fret is a bit off and the guitar needs a reset.
That means your intonation is off friendo, you can look how to fix it on RUclips or pay for a guitar tech to do it for you 🙂
Suggest me an electric guitar for playing math rock....and tell ur guitar name too...
3:49 its naturall expresion
How long have you been playing guitar?
Are you anywhere related to Fahad Fasil? You look soo similar to him :)
Have you learnt by yourself how to play yhe guitar?
Amazing! Where do you get the tabs for Polyphia songs? just Ultimate Guitar?
Thanks man \m/ I’d say buy the tabs from the website, it’s only a few dollars and you’re supporting the band. Otherwise theres guides on RUclips. I learned with a mix of both haha
ahhhh for god sake, the base notes go from E to D, to G (not C, damnit). Like.. good job for the technics but how can you play this riff 100 times without noticing that...
You have tabs right:(
Basically if u could learn this by ears in 12 days, common u r god
I bought the tabs from the polyphia website, not even a remote chance I can learn this stuff by ear haha
Some get my talented brother an amp
If you did tiktok you'd probably be hella popular
You're playing wrong note just before tap/slide. Should be G on E string but you're playing C. Still cool
