Every video you guys do your approach shots are always long and end up off the back of the green. Club down on your approach shots. Love the content keep it up
If you've got game improvement irons, they can produce inconsistent flights because they're typically low-spin, high launch which can result in varying ball-speeds off middled strikes. Make sure you've always got clean grooves as well, as dirty grooves will affect spin rates and produce inconsistencies. Otherwise, it's more likely to be a ball-striking issue. Either inconsistent strike location, angle of attack or face angle which can only really be helped with practice and coaching. Also worth taking everything into account over the shot and not just the distance from the pin, like lie, elevation, wind etc. Ron is on an elevated tee box for that shot, which will make the hole play a little shorter than it is and I don't know whether he accounted for that when choosing his club. Could be a number of things to be honest mate but biggest differential will always be quality/consistency of ball striking.
I remember watching the boys at Christmas with my Dad and we both agreed that Pad was the best out of the brothers, WHAT HAPPENED? Get some lessons Pad to get that backswing sorted out.
