Dear Leela, you are always an inspiration because you are a wonderful human being and you share your thoughts and talents so generously. Jai ho, Leela, you are much admired and loved. Romi 😊
Leela akka always I love 💕 your presence and the way you present the programs and especially your teaching I like , really you are a energetic person.love you akka. And you are very very simple and lovly person.
I'm not sure I agree with Ms Samson that the basic postures of bharatanatyam dance "mean nothing". They may not have a theatrical or narrative interpretation but they embody a purpose beyond mere technique to be performed sweetly or poorly. The geometry of the body in aramandi creates a series of inverted and upright pyramids, structures known to concentrate energy. When considered this way, bharatanatyam - particularly its rhythmic or nritta aspect - is a yoga to awaken kundalini shakti and dramatise the eternal dance of the atom. The dance of Shiva - who is also known as Mahayogi, the Great Yogi - could not offer anything less.
