Very nice place....the more I learn about the Philippines, the move I want to go.....great beaches and great waterfalls and places to swim....I enjoy the pretty ladies too.....i hear their family values are the beast.
Everyone commenting on the beach being nasty. first off its typhoon season it's a everyday process to keep it clean... There's rubbish daily... Summer time it's not like that.. I live on this beach so I know.. they do clean it. It's right back dirty daily because of the storms
That Blue Rock Restaurant is one of the highest rated restaurants in the entire area, the Barrio is a great little getaway for a few days but do not swim in the water especially if you have any open cuts.
The last time I was in Subic was Sept. 2011 and A Typhoon had went thru about a week before we got there, the beach was a mess from all of the debris, so we left and went to Poracay Resort back in Pampanga LOL!

I was surprised you didn't pick up the Barbie doll that was on the beach in the surf. Ex-pats are always complaining about the trash but plastic is a particular problem for oceans everywhere. Maybe you could be more thoughtful next time. If everyone picked up a couple of items every time they went to the beach it would soon make a big difference. Keep posting the videos, I enjoy them a lot.
Foreigners can't buy LAND. Condos are easy to buy, mine is amazingly cheap - in the middle of a cpital city, one bedroom with a balcony overlooking a pool and a tenth of the price of the equivalent in London. Condos work because they are basically leasing the land on a 50-year lease and the units are a minimum of 60% filipino ownership. If you want to build a house there are a few places you can do that, for example Subic Bay, but you are only leasing the land for 50 years and you never own it. you can also lease land privately but that can be a bit of a minefield.

We found when using our metal detectors, the best places are the tourist spots. Unlike Australia, no one sunbakes on the sand....water hunting could be a different story.

no its not a every day process,, it can be done in 1 day after typhoon unless its a serious typhoon, if a typhoon hits 1 time a month its easy to clean up,, its pure laziness and lack of care, they dont understand trash removal there,, a sad but true reality in PI, our area we worked on education of trash, a cebu province, and now it is clean! took 8 rears but it can be done,, the resort workers and owners just sit around , while a 10 min walk with a bag could make a big difference,,, education helps but laziness is hard to overcome
