    I know the video is old but do you have anymore exhaust videos? Love the sound

      I'm sorry I don't. I changed exhaust, it was too loud. I changed with a guy and got a borla exhaust. Then the slp was too loud for him and he traded for a billy boat exhaust.

    I've also got the stage 1 cam, heads, headers, and have 450whp. I didn't want the stage 2 or 3 for the street because how often are you above 4,000 RPM.

      @@70velle2 it makes good power but I'm taking my lift off and going down in tire size. I have a 4k stall and 4.10s and it's currently a burnout monsters so I can afford to lose SOME low end but don't want to lose functionality of a truck. I'm thinking of going back to stock 3.42s as well. The 4.10s were a bandaid for when I had less power but I don't need them now

    Sick car man just wondering how did you get 11:1 compression with the 243 heads?

    • @70velle2
      @70velle2  2 месяца назад +1

      Hey Bro, the guy who I bought the car from had the heads milled, to boost the compression. Stock is 10.25 to one, This is what he told me, and had the paper work, so I am taking him on his word when he said 11 to 1.

    How do you think the performance is compared to stock?

    • @70velle2
      @70velle2  3 года назад +1

      I think it is more robust than it was stock. Its mild, 401 hp/Tq at the wheels, so what seemed fast when i got it, is getting slower by the day... I picked up a supercharger though to up the ante.... The good thing is the cam is close enough to stock that all i need to do is change the heads and it should perform well

    • @mrGW
      @mrGW 3 года назад

      @@70velle2 tank you for your answer, im in the process of deciding between stage 1 vs 2, but here in sweden we have such strict regulations around emssions. I want the atage 2 but then i will have a constamt big problem with the yearly inspection, and i dont want that. So it seems like the stage one is the cam for my application.. I think it sounds like it has some loop? How is the sound compared to stock in reality?

    • @70velle2
      @70velle2  3 года назад

      @@mrGW there is definitely some loop. You need headers and an exhaust to hear it though. I had long tube headers and Z06 titanium exhaust and you couldn't hear it. Then put on the loud mouths and it's loud.

    I have a 98 coupe, auto trans, am thinking about the same cam. Did you have to swap the torque convertor out or r you still running the stock convertor???? Sounds awesome, have you had it tuned since the upgrades were added?????

    • @70velle2
      @70velle2  5 лет назад +5

      Paul, its a 6 spd, but its a small cam, I dont think you would have to replace your torque converter at all.

    • @70velle2
      @70velle2  5 лет назад

      I had it tuned before I put the SLP Loud mouth on. The entire package was really quiet with the titanium exhaust on before, now you can hear everything. I would suggest a quieter exhaust so your neighbors dont hate you. Goto BTR's website. I think they say you might have to change your torque converter on the stage 2 or 3, but 1 if thats where you go will be fine. The driving manners are great on the one, and it is a bump in power.

      @@70velle2 HI, I'm getting this cam and the z06 intake for my stock 99 vette auto but not the heads do you know more or less how much power that should equal to after a tune?

    • @70velle2
      @70velle2  2 года назад +1

      @@productionswhatever9 well I have the long tube headers, and the exhaust with the heads that are milled for a higher compression ratio. I got 401 hp and torque at the wheels when it was dyno'd. The tune I got left some on the table, as it was lean at certain rpm's... Do I know what you would make all things being equal with a better tune? I'm guessing you would be 40 hp less due to the loss with the auto vs the manual transmission and the headers, heads and higher compression. But I think your car would be as fast or faster due to the auto transmission shifting faster. I'd say 450 HP at the crank, 360- to the wheels.... What do you think

    • @productionswhatever9
      @productionswhatever9 2 года назад +1
