Like O'Keefe gave a very clear explanation of the penalty... Loosehead went on a knee, which caused Koch to scrum at an angle..... I don't understand how people of such a high rugby calibre can say such stupid things. Embarrassing if you ask me.
Especially since sa conceded a pen for the same thing earlier in the game

Koch would have been trying to scrum straight to get the penalty.England loosehead was pushing in.
That’s not true. It is a Bok penalty, but the reason is because the English prop drops his knee, this causes his shoulder to drop as well, as he is the loosehead he has the outside shoulder, so when it drops Koch who is aiming straight will have his shoulder drop too, which cause him to turn inwards. Koch causes the scrum to push inwards, but only because the English prop’s knee dropped.
@@jameswyatt4443 Agree. And the only reason the game was so close is between Ben was favouring England more with most of the decision during the Game and they could still not win with the poor performance of the game.

In as much as referees make key decisions in matches, there are a lot of plays, opportunities and decisions that teams control. Pointing out a few errors made by the referee is a bit of an idealistic approach. After Rassie’s bad he came back and said the reality that referee’s make mistakes but they don’t control everything.
Article 37.e quite clearly says you not to go to a kneeling position. Its very clear why SA won that scrim and it was a deaerved penalty. I expected more from this channel.
Look at the set-up - Kock's hips is clearly facing inwards! There is clear intention that he is going to angle and bore on the English hooker! Look at the timing when Genge drop's to his OUTSIDE knee - immediately during engagement because of the angle Koch is driving on it forces Genge to lose his balance!
The referee penalizes Genge for dropping to his knee then forcing the scrum to go across field because he accuses Genge for angling when it was Koch who was the one who was angling!
Look at the scrum rule where it says you must scrum straight!!!!!
The Boks scrum for penalties - always have and always will because they can get away with it!

The refs and TMO won South Africa the world cup ...Everything went there way .Colby moving before ramos on the conversion charge down .This decision. What I cannot understand is how O'Keefe did NOT see Koch's hips facing towards George during the set-up - there is clear intent from the Boks that they are going to drive in on the angle from the TH side to get a penalty! Genge's knee going to ground is from the engagement of Koch driving inwards forcing Genge to lose balance!
The Boks should have been penalised for this illegal scrum action.
