The 9th Picross S Series is the definitive edition of the hit illustration puzzle game!
This release includes the new "Rewind Puzzle" feature. It's a handy feature for when you notice inconsistencies while you're solving a puzzle.
There are 300 Picross and Mega Picross puzzles, 150 Clip Picross piece puzzles, 30 Color Picross puzzles, and 5 Extra puzzles, a grand total of 485 puzzles!
Link play data from Picross S4, Picross S5, and Picross S6 to unlock three Extra puzzles.

I love the rewind feature -- much better than a simple undo feature. I do wish you could just use it with a button press instead of having to go into a menu, maybe using the ZL/ZR buttons to step back and forward. Still, it's progress. Can't wait!

I like the cherry blossom theme. Picross S8 had some creepy music and the theme was dark.

S8's theme was the night sky and space. I think it was one of the more fun themes they did, but I can see how the music could be off-putting. There's a sense of uncertain wonder present that's very evocative of exploring the wide, unknown cosmos.

Rewind will be great when you have a mistake from a misclick that is not caught right away.

There are better ways to recover, rewind appears to undo everything up until the point you go back to. You're better off looking at your lines and finding the ones that don't make sense and just erase the entire line and do it again.

@@KGhaleon That is usually what I do but it looks like with the rewind you could use it just as a replay. So I would likely use the rewind to replay my moves to help pinpoint mistakes I am struggling with and then manually correct it.

Nah, Mega Picross is fun, you just gotta git gud. Study the in-game tutorials, use the blue hints, and ask for help on the Picross subreddit if you need it (you might find me there!). Once it finally clicks, it's so satisfying. You just gotta give it a chance!
