Superb film. "I don't think it can happen in my lifetime at all, but hope is life," says Rajiv Rajan, lawyer and disability rights activist, who filed a PIL 20 years ago. That line explains a lot about the film. The fight is not just for the disabled community but also for those of us who are lucky enough to grow old to see the world evolve. Accessibility is not one community's problem, it affects all of us.
Appreciate the efforts of those who fought for this differently able friendly transport. I have suffered for more than 10 with an injured knee and can't board a standard bus. In time 50% of buses should be made available on this model. Since most decisions makers do not travel by bus, they do not know the need for same. Spread the message. Good work.
Thanks for addressing a conveniently ignored necessity for many. Not only the differently abled but also many who have knee issues find it very difficult to board the bus. Let us hope the government realises the need of the hour and runs accessible buses.
Really nice video and good message, really an eye opener,I Wanted to make similar kind of movie related to beautiful places of tamilnadu being destroyed and how to recover it and show case our lands natural beauty to the world
We are still waiting for the freedom of accessibility. Finally, after 20 long years, accessibility has been achieved for locomotor-disabled individuals. However, other persons with disabilities, such as those who are visually impaired, are still waiting for similar progress.
Excellent message conveyed for the immediate action for disabled atleast let this film be an eye opener . 20 years it has taken for this kind of action. Come on Govt think of the disabled and see their difficulties . It is high time they give acceptability for them. Well taken short film the best one indeed waking up disabled peoples dream come true all over TN.
Well.thoughr n shot short film. Needs wide coverage. Much Much needed to create awareness Hope this film will accelerate the pace of raped changes in mindsets in implementation of accessible transportation. Remember, there is space for everyone, if only you all do your bit . A big shout out to the makers..🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤❤❤
Heart-wrenching and soul stirring facts made us numb and speechless. . Why are the ruling authorities not able to perceive the pain and suffering of fellow human beings... least empathetic and inhumane..? Let the power of common man be felt..Let People pull these vicious bureaucrats down and mend their attitude towards the less privileged .. This short film is a real eye opener for all of us, and in fact, a wake-up call for all those hypocrites in deep slumber. Let us be united and fight for justice ,till the Level Up.. Superb presentation of such social injustice ,and lack of right infrastructure for the differently able persons to travel and to trade. ..
Excellent short film. It's an eye opener. It's good to see some action being taken in this regard. Hopefully this opens up the space for more action by the government and the society. Congratulations to the team!
Congrats Team! Well done..This is really an eye opener and a good initiative. Let's all get united and give our voice too to get justice for the differently abled people of our country .Let us hope for the best to happen in the near future. Kudos to the team again.
A good initiative. It is mandatory for any bank to provide lift or proper access for handicapped to visit. Probably we can all start thinking in those terms🎉
Well shot .But 20 yrs is too long a time to start implementing a basic necessity....so let us all join hands to support them and make India a beautiful place for every one to live independently...
Great movie made but the ear and eye are closed every State not only Tamil even in Maharashtra we are suffering same , let the PM of india should do pray to God give the politician and ministers barin to think of our Situations them .
Even able bodied cannot walk on level ground ! In some countries if you fell or hurt yourself the city, the people who were responsible, top to bottom are punished so badly that no one dares providing sub standard work deviating and regularization of crimes against public using public money. Where is Rs 3 lakh crore or 35 billion usd collected per year go every year. Where are the accounts in the public domain? Who is going to sue the insurance companies. When Are the insurance companies goung to sue the public servant terrorists responsible for wastage of resources. Why can't we learn these from the west instead of taking all the bad running our minds and body. If this happened in the usa what will they do as a society to fix this forever across the nation 3 times the size of india. Even the poorest villages have the same wuslity and design standards for public infrastructure, why? Because be have been conditioned to be fearful and worthless against the public servants and religious leaders who are not not crushed by the system so there is fear to waste, loot, cheat on using public money . Worst of all over spending 70 billion dollars and accumulating every year. It's pretty incredible that the common man will say we do not collect enough tax to have better infrastructure . What would you do with 35billion dollars tax money every year from Just one state tax ?
Like what we have a ladies special, probably government should think of making special buses for people with disabilities. Nevertheless, a Law is important for building any infrastructure having basic facilities for people with disability
Thought provoking. Well made film.
