He's trained multiple outstanding sorcerers (and one non sorcerer) who he thinks can rise to the challenge of defeating the special grades, the only one gojo could see as a true problem is Psuedo Geto, but he proved that the body can rebel against Kenjaku so his power isn't absolute.

And to add salt to the wound, there's also the drama about studio not treating its employees well for years for taking ridiculous amount of shows with them which reached to the point that most people resigned from MAPPA at the time when Shibuya Arc was ongoing. So I think it's going to take a huge amount of time for JJK to come back even if the teaser trailer for the next stuff is officially announced.

And even then he was more than okay with the possibility of Mahito getting exorcised here, since his priority was doing away with Gojo. Kenjaku's plan was to just seal Gojo and let Mahito run free until he eventually developed enough that his technique became useful. Hanami, Jogo and Choso were just paws that outlived their usefulness.

If he was smart enough to prepare for this scenario (in which he was thats why he contacted Yuuta and figured the influx in special grades were plotting something) he is smart enough to prepare his inevitable fight against Sukuna (again he definitely was as he immediately went to meet the new Sukuna and Kenjaku and knew what he had to do when everyone put their faith on him as the strongest and the city had gone to shit) Gojo is actually really smart regardless of how he carries himself infront of his students and peers. If all Kenjaku wanted was to do that, he could solo all of them right then and there with no trouble. Kenjaku is basically #3 in the verse and outmatches then in every regard.

Not only at no point before or after this scene he ever expressed interest in Jogo, he really only wanted Mahito because Mahito's technique was necessary to start the culling games which itself is a part of his plan for the merger. And even then he was more than okay with the possibility of Mahito getting exorcised here, since his priority was doing away with Gojo.
Kenjaku's plan was to just seal Gojo and let Mahito run free until he eventually developed enough that his technique became useful. Hanami, Jogo and Choso were just paws that outlived their usefulness.

Also, later in the manga it was shown Gojo was practicing his DE while in the Prison Realm, meaning he might have tried to get out by using all his abilities but wasnt able yet used that to his advantage in some way by refining his abilites and his DE.
If he was smart enough to prepare for this scenario (in which he was thats why he contacted Yuuta and figured the influx in special grades were plotting something) he is smart enough to prepare his inevitable fight against Sukuna (again he definitely was as he immediately went to meet the new Sukuna and Kenjaku and knew what he had to do when everyone put their faith on him as the strongest and the city had gone to shit)
Gojo is actually really smart regardless of how he carries himself infront of his students and peers. He has to be, considering how his abilities work. Hes more of an unorthodox think outside of the box kinda guy, again shown later in the manga with his fight agaisnt Sukuna

In this scene, I believe it was actually kenjaku using his gravity manipulation to trick the others into leaving so they could waste their energy to then absorb all of them especially mahito. But the blue eyes definetly his
it was not, because using anti-gravity or reversal anti-gravity will emit cursed energy that clearly traces back to Kenjaku.
