Before Shibuya, none of the disaster cursed spirits were under the control of Kenjaku. They listened to Kenjaku because he seemed to be knowledgeable, quite powerful and probably seemed to be on their side. Jogo even threatened to kill Kenjaku after he tasked them with fighting Gojo in Shibuya.

Otherwise it's not at all equivalent, because the disaster curses were working with kenjaku of their own free will while tengen is forced to by CSM

I feel like Gojo just Split Blitzed Kenjaku's countermeasures to trap or slow him down with the Trench, barrier and cursed spirits. He probably just no diffed all that and teleported instantly to Kenjaku's location to begin his clean-up process.
Can Mahoraga survive a purple Attack? In order to be able to adapt to it? Sukuna is Probably gonna need some Big IQ cursed abilities' combination from those he possesses to take out Gojo, Cuz Brute force and some limited cursed techniques is not the way for him.

similar to yorozu, he can probably adapt by getting attacked froim red and blue. he never got hit with infinite pressure, but he adapt to the "unified way" yorozu used her ability. simply put, his adaptation is more general

Albeit, I don't doubt that he loved his brother but that he was more envious of his brothers strength and ends up killing his brother or trucking him into taking the bath..... I think it would be really cool if sukkuna was a reverse version of maki. Like maki got the physical boost while sukkuna got the curse energy boost. And that’s maybe the key to being a cursed vessel and being able to have “multiple curse techniques”

What I find most interesting about this chapter is that it seems to be the one time Kenjaku's plans haven't played out (regarding Gojo's escape).
I think that Tengen can stay conscious because of the "Barriers". It was the only thing preventing him to become a full course spirit (something like that :P)
I think Kenjaku "manipulating" Tengen is proof that Tengen is now a curse spirit if Geto's curse manipulation works on him. Only reason we were not able to see the same when he absorbed Mahito was because he used his idle transfiguration technique (which was stated to just a one-off use just like his Uzumaki). Special grades have consciousness and high intellect. I am sure Tengen is a special grade curse spirit now.
Tengen evolved and is more curse than human (not completely a curse but enough so that Cursed Spirit Manipulation works on him). He exists all around Japan, his body was just a technique (only usable inside his own barriers) from Tengen to manifest something as a way of communication. Think of it as a puppet through which Tengen can talk etc. Kenjaku just uses the same "puppet"-manifestation of him so he can talk with him more easily even though he is already under his control.

I think gojo was able to hear what was going on outside of the prison realm. How else would he have known about Sukuna running away from yuji. So maybe he heard some stuff Kenny was talking about. Like his plan.
I don't think that is what he meant. I think seeing Sukuna in Megumi's body makes it clear that Sukuna "ran" away from his prison (Yuji). That is, Sukuna's soul could not contend with Yuji's soul over control of Yuji's body.

Sukuna seems to be a natural counter to Gojo and the limitless technique and that event in the past might actually be Sukuna possessing a 10 shadows user just as Kenjaku possessed Noritoshi using him to practice his evil deeds

That would be disappointing. And it seems only Gojo has the dark horse technique that can counter both his 10 shadows and shrine. The question still remains, can Mahoraga truly adapt to anything (which by the way was already proven to be not the case as he failed to do so with a much weaker Sukuna's fire arrow) and especially to Satoru Gojo's infinity? It may even be the case that their domains will just cancel each other out. Also, both has close to unlimited curse energy. Can Sukuna even cut Gojo outside of the malevolent shrine? Can Sukuna even use his innate technique with domain amplification? These actually makes Gojo the perfect counter for Sukuna and Sukuna the perfect challenge for Gojo.
@@rbr1170 Mahoraga may not be able to adapt to anything instantly. But by summoning Mahoraga's wheel like he did against Yorozu, Sukuna can allow Mahoraga to adapt before even summoning it. And if Mahoraga can adapt not just to one attack but Gojo's entire Limitless technique, he could likely surpass Gojo's "barrier" entirely

@@Evilman_520 I think we're talking about two different things. For me when the chapter says 'running away from Yuji' it meant running away from Yuji's body to a different host, not Sukuna running away from Yuji in their last fight.

I think when Gojo mentions he has things to take care of he's probably talking about either whooping the higher ups, taking control of the jujustu world or training his comrades to be ready for war

I don't think Sukuna vs Gojo and team will be the final battle. I think the merger or something worse will be triggered by kenjaku. But kenjaku won't be powering up himself he'll be doing it to Yuji and then maybe Yuji will lose control.
I've previously thought that maybe Tengen will become a god during the merger but kenjaku will turn this God Tengen into a cursed object forcing it into Yuji.
Kenjaku wants Gojo & Sukuna to kill each other so he can capture Sukuna (cursed object) in his arsenal. Sukuna believes he'll win & will then kill Kenjaku (binding vow).

He wants to mourn Geto, he doesn't fully know the current state of the jjk society, he hasn't met his students who are his topmost priority, the higher-ups etc. I think, these plus the initial reason I stated makes it a good decision not to fight at that point. Also, a 1 vs 1 with Sukuna is safer than a 2 vs 1 fight.

Edit: i think when sukuna reposses his mumified body. Megumi will once again have control of his own , and use the Mahoraga to fight against sukuna , yugi will be able to use Cleave and Dismantle to help kill sukuna . Tengens Barriers will be completely destroyed. And kenjaku will escape the hosts body in hopes of possesing the dead body of Gojo . But yuuta squashes the brain🙂
