    This was really perfect for ASMR day. I enjoyed seeing Robertception. I appreciate all the work you put into your videos, and into making people feel comfortable. Your soft spoken voice in this was perfect. Also, I was slightly intimidated by your cube skills. Fast hands. 0_0

    I really think you have some of the best roleplays out there. They are always genuine, because you stick to what you know, which was awesome. I also like that you usually don't give answers to the questions that you ask, such as what your name is, what happened, etc. It makes it a lot easier to immerse oneself in the roleplay. So thank you for your excellence!

    I really appreciate how you take the time to comment and respond to each of your viewers, and also I've seen your supportive comments on a number of newer ASMRtists who I've visited in recent days, which is fantastic. And here you are, with a "self-help" video for new and aspiring artists, most helpful and instructional! Thank you so much, Robert, for being such a kind person, as well as a really amazing artist in your own right!

    I have a samsung galaxy s7 and it has two mics (one at the top and one at the bottom) so it's pretty much and all-in-one kinda thing. It has a front and back camera, and a binaural sound recording system. It's the same thing with a samsung galaxy s4. I hope this comment is helpful for some people. 😁

  • @duffthepsych
    @duffthepsych  11 лет назад +3

    Yeah, actually. If you download audacity, which is a free program, you can reduce the background noise. You will have to import the file into audacity, then I usually leave about 10 seconds of dead space at the beginning of all my videos (which I edit out later). Then you just select that space, effects->reduce noise->get noise profile. Then select all of the audio and effects->reduce noise->reduce noise. (something like that) There's a lot of tutorials for it online. Play with the settings.

    This was very cool. not only was this interesting to watch it was asmr inducing. your set up is so much more clean cut than mine. If i were to turn my camera around, people would just see a mess of wires, props the stack of laundry my camera sometimes sits on and lots of tape.......yes tape;). I love your videos man, keep them coming!

Since RUclips has such a vast amount of information, I searched under "how to make asmr videos" and found a tutorial by you. How cool is that?! :) This helps a lot. Now I just need to start-thank you for taking your time to do this.
    I've also noticed that you respond back to people here in the comments section. A lot of people who have channels, for anything, don't do that, so thanks for that too.

  • @duffthepsych
    @duffthepsych  11 лет назад +1

    Well first of all congrats for getting started!! I would say your best bet to start with is to write tags that are descriptive of your video. Some general keywords like ASMR, tingles etc. are good to have, then just think of what's in your video. Whispering? Tapping? Soft speaking? Accent? I'm clearly not the most popular channel around here, so who knows if my tagging strategies are the strongest :-p

    Do a short test video! Do a little soft speaking, a little whispering and a little close up whispering and see if it works for anyone! You also can do videos that don't rely on your voice at all!
