I have a fully specced 2015 W205 C Class; you can call it a baby S Class. The Distronic Plus (speed regulation & proximity control) works exceptionally well, especially in emergency braking. However, the lane tracking (via 2 front windshield cameras) is not that great. It works well if the roads are well marked, but with the caveat that it demands hands-on-steering every 30-60 seconds. Any idea if the new C Class or S Class takes us closer to true autonomous driving?
Definitely, the new S-Class will have up to level 4 autonomous driving. So I would presume the same tech should again be available in the C. Level 4 will essentially allow you to fall asleep 😴 The only issue is that while the cars have the tech it may not be legally allowed. But once laws permit, an over the air software update will unlock the level 4 autonomous. The lane tracking has definitely gotten better over the years. The progress is definitely tangible when drive a 2018 model and then again a 2020 model. So even from that perspective the basics should be a lot better.
Very nice review :) TY Yusuf
I saw this exact car in Boksburg JHB not so long ago..
Very possible, car has been sold : (

How many miles the car cover till now? Are you using the V12 as daily use car? Are you the first owner of the car?
The car had around 40 00km. Unfortunately, we sold the car now but it wasn’t been daily driven
5.5 liter v12
Is this the last year of the s600 ?
Yes. For the new W223 2021 S-Class I believe if you want a V12, the only option is the Maybach variant.
Very few were made
Please can we work together
On what would like to work together?
